Blog post guidelines say no donation or money requests allowed, yet the writer support guidelines contradict.

I was informed that I have misunderstood the rules here regarding patrons and coffee buying, and that it is allowed.
I hope so.

Writer support (Patreon, Subscribestar etc...): If you promote your writing on Storiesonline and ask for financial support, you must keep the progress on Storiesonline relatively close to your postings on your support site. You must keep the work on Storiesonline within two instalments of the work on the support site. If the work is completed on the support site, then it must be completed on Storiesonline within two weeks of the completion on the support site. Failure to keep up the progress will result in your work on Storiesonline being hidden until updated with new parts.

If I am properly informed, and understand the above correctly, then sharing that I have both with my readers is okay.
If not, then I hope I will be given the opportunity to remove this blog entry instead of being deleted or having my posts hidden.

I have new chapters of “MyVery Own Jeannie” coming this weekend.
Thanks for being patient.

However, I realize now that I got so wrapped up in work and writing that I possibly made a newbie mistake.
I am already on Chapter 8, and the story timeline has only progressed around 8 days from where the “meat” of it started.
Is that okay ???

Anyway,
I am working as much as possible to complete Chapter 8 and get all caught up.
Again, I apologize that my Life (read UNEXPECTED BILLS) have caused me to have to pick up extra hours at work, so free time has been RARE lately.
Times are hard and prices are UP, as they say.
Maybe the PTB at this site will allow us to start listing our links to donation sites if we ask nicely?? It would surely help.

I am so happy you all are enjoying my first attempt at writing.
I wish I could say “Thank You” in a way that truly expressed how grateful and surprised I am at the positive votes and comments so far, and I love and appreciate you each and every one for it.

So, I posted the latest chapters. The patrons loved them so I bet you will too.

If it isn't obvious, someone is falling deep into the abyss of love.

I never thought that the TV show was written very well due to there not being any romantic attraction. Tony was definitely into guys if he resisted his jeannie.

Another set of parameters, or rules, that are usually forced onto writers of the Genie fiction pertains to wishes. I never agreed to the 3-wishes or other limitations on what can be wished.

My story has some doozies in later chapters.

Anyway,

If you are reading, then I thank you. I will try to keep it updated fairly regular.

If you are not reading, then maybe you should. If for no other reason than to see how badly I crush the "givens" and "rules", and how many of the old genie guidelines I fail to follow.
