Hi all!

I trust that you guys and girls are well. Thank you for all the votes and the comments and emails. It is appreciated.

I am still busy with chapter 8. Between the stage six load shedding, I only have abut 4 hours a day to work on chapter 8. It’s going slowyly, but surely. But not to keep you waiting, here is chapter 2 of the Morningside Meadows.

Well! That’s it! Until next time.

Keep well, and stay safe!

Bye 4 now!

Morningside Meadows Chapter One.

Hi all!

I trust that you guys and girls are well and have NOT missed me much! LOL. Well I did take a break. About 5 days, and a new story was forming in my mind. I just had to pen it down and with my Editors keeping up the great work they do, they said its time Morningside Meadows goes out.

I did not intend for Morningside Meadows to be a follow-up to any of my previous stories, but it just so happened that some elements of the previous stories did surface. Yeah, yeah, I know; boring! But then again 90% of the readers fell in love with some of the characters, and so they need to put in some appearance sometimes. It is also good to know how Grumpy Charley is coping with retirement.

The story is about 80% done, but to not keep you waiting, I’ll publish the first couple of chapters. The chapters will be posted a few days apart, just to give me time to finish the rest of the story. I have completed 7 chapters so far and busy with chapter 8.

Well! That’s it! Until next time.

Keep well, and stay safe!

Bye 4 now!

To Cheat the Devil. Chapter 15.

Hi all!

Well, here is chapter 15 of “To Cheat the Devil.” I hope this is what you guys and girls wanted. What you expected, and I hope this gave you the enjoyment that you were looking for. I know not everyone are aviation fans. I also know that some don’t like the violence and war themes. There’s some that wanted some stroke story, but that is not in my line. This is evident out of the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 scores in the votes. At least the 7, 8, 9, and overwhelming 10 scores gave me the courage to continue writing and posting.

On the 21st of October 2020 at 15:37, “Return to Sender” was posted here on SOL. After 5.33 gigabyte in 294 folders and 5162 files of research and delivering some 674 375 words in 7 stories, the time has come for me to take a rest. Yes, I know I said before that I am taking a rest, but every time there was another story to flow. The last one, “To Cheat the Devil,” was done due to the pressure from readers that wanted to know what happened in Somalia. I hope you now have your answer… Somalia is not a country I would recommend for visiting.

This time however, I am forcing myself to take a rest. I’ve come to notice that I feel the quality of my stories are not what it seems to be, therefore allow me to recharge my batteries before I attempt another project. (I think my editors would also like the break… LOL.)

Well, I won’t be taking a complete break, as two authors on this site has asked to help them with just getting their stories ready for publishing. I know that I am not THAT qualified to give my input, but do regard this as an honour to help out. So, by stepping back a bit, I’ll have some time on my hands to help out these guys.

In the famous words of the Terminator: I’ll be back!

Until next time.

Keep well, and stay safe!

To Cheat the Devil. Chapter 14.

Hi all!

AND here comes the rainy season! At 16:00 the clouds roll in! A lot of thunder rumbling, a few scattered drops about 30 centimetres apart… then the sun comes out, and it’s back to roasting again! But those that know say: “The rain will come…”

Those that asked about my health, well I am good, and in fit shape. No, I’m not aware that my use of the English language has changed… Maybe I learned a few more words to use… I don’t know… It’s got nothing to do with my health. LOL. But thanks for noticing!

Here is Chapter 14 of To Cheat the Devil. Enjoy!

And if I don’t answer your comments or emails until tomorrow, don’t worry, it’s only the cell towers being out and leave me without internet for hours on end! Grrrrr!!!!

Until next time.

Keep well, and stay safe!

Bye 4 now!

To Cheat the Devil. Chapter 13.

Hi all!

It seems like everyone is a bit quiet these days. But yes, I agree, life do happens…

But I think a certain someone will drop me mail, after he read the part about Charley and how Charley relates to Mai-Loan. Or should I say; how Mai-Loan relates to Charley? LOL. But that is called: “Building the character.”

Now then, if all goes well, chapter 13 will be up and available shortly. YES, the picture of the Red Bull BO-105 on the top of a loop over Lady Liberty is real! There’s a video of it on YouTube, so go check it out.

There was a little confusion to what is “waste cloth.” Well, some of you know it by the name “rag.” Here with us you get two types of waste cloth. It is the little bits and pieces of material left over after the fashion gurus made $10 000 dresses. So all the off-cuts get bundled up and sold as scrap!

Then the other type is all the yards and yards of thread left over and bundled up into a crows nest of waste. This get sold as well, so some of us can wipe our hands sometimes. Then discarding it instead of giving someone nightmares in washing the stuff.

The “waste cloth” is the picture I put into the text. The other one is just called “waste,” but I could not find a picture of that. Sorry… Next time I’ll ask my buddy at the airport to just take a photo of it with his cell phone. LOL.

I hope all goes well for you.

Until next time.

Keep well, and stay safe!

Bye 4 now!
