Repost and musical interlude

Posted at Updated:

I have corrected and partially revised an older story of mine titled "The Music Room", which I've always liked personally, and which got some attention from fellow authors. It's the second story featuring Danielle, the young exhibitionist who showed up most recently in "Covid Relief". I hope any of you who have not read one or the other of these stories will check them out.

The flute solo Dani plays in "The Music Room" is real, by the way, and can be found on you tube. It's titled "Children Are Playing" and was written by Carl Nielsen.

Reaction to Dress Code

My new story, Dress Code, seems to be getting some attention, though, as always with my work, scores are middling at best. (Someday, I swear, I'm going to crack an 8. Take that, Aroslav.)

Thanks, too, to gmbusman for his review.

I'd also like to share a comment from one of my more perceptive readers, who lives in Germany. The story seems to have struck a chord with him, because he's evidently well acquainted with the idea of dictatorial school administrators and students' attempts to fight back. I found this fascinating:

"Sometimes I get information about what is going on in schools in Russia because my cousins go there. School administrators there are constantly terrorizing the students by making the rules stricter. Children rebel from time to time. For example, at graduation parties, one of the girls is sure to come in a see-through dress and no underwear, or in a suit suitable for a nightclub. Every year there are scandals called 'naked prom girls'."

Hmm, that graduation idea might make a good story.

New story, ripped from the headlines

I have just posted a new story titled Dress Code. Not much to say about this one, really, except that it was sggested by a real incident that made headlines across the country. As always, my sympathy lies with the kids.

New genre code

Thanks to Lazeez, who has accepted my suggestion and added a new genre code to the list:

ENF

which stands for "embarrassed nude female." I've added it to several of my Danielle stories. It would also be appropriate for most Naked in School stories.

It may be defined thus: "A woman (or girl) embarrassed because she has to, has been persuaded to, or is forced to strip, or because she is suddenly caught naked, or because she has somehow lost her clothes and cannot avoid embarrassing encounters."

I suggested it because the closest things on the list were "nudism" and "exhibitionism," neither of which quite gets at the concept. I just hope it catches on.

ENF is down at the bottom of list of sexual activities, under "other."

Danielle keeps on stripping

You wouldn't think there'd be a lot of potential plot twists for a character whose only flaw is the urge to get naked, but I have just finished my ninth story about Danielle, a young girl who does just that. This one is called The Greatest Freedom, and in it, Dani is trying to write an essay for extra credit in history class. Problem is, only one topic really inspires her.

I don't know if Danielle is my own favorite character (I am also partial to Kristen in The Saint Agnes Passion), but she is the one I keep returing to, and the few readers I have seem to like her as well.
