Hi everyone! Nothing earth-shattering here, but you'll notice a couple of style changes starting with Chapter 36 of Book 2, and eventually these will be incorporated into prior chapters as I update existing text.
The first change is the addition of the day of the week to the dates given at the beginning of each day. One of my editors suggested this, and it seems like a good way to keep connected with what's going on. Often it's obvious which day of the week a certain day is, but not always.
The second change is that what was formerly 'OK' is now 'okay'. Another editor suggested that, and it feels better. I've been dragging my feet on making the change, but it's a good time to bite the bullet. I'll have to go through and edit, and there may be occasional misses.
As always, if you have suggestions, thoughts, feedback, whatever - please let me know!
Following up on the question I asked yesterday - all of the feedback has been positive on moving to the morning. If you don't like that, for whatever reason, please do let me know - this weekend is an experiment. If feedback continues to be positive I'll leave it at mornings.
Thank you all again for your continuing support and readership!
Variation on a Theme crossed the one million download mark today. While that's not perhaps the most meaningful standard (the same stories posted as entire books, not a bunch of chapters, would have far fewer downloads), it's a nice big round number and worth mentioning and celebrating.
So, bonus chapter tomorrow. You might see another bonus in June, we'll see.
I've had some reader comments that they'd like morning postings Friday and Saturday. I'm good either way, but would like to know if anyone has preferences around morning vs evening. If you have opinions, let me know (and, if you've already commented, I know your feelings!).
It looks like I accidentally set today's posting to 'pm' instead of 'am' when queueing it. I just submitted it for immediate posting, so it should be out shortly.
As promised, now that Chapter 10 is out, I'll be turning voting on momentarily. Thanks to all of my readers. Hope you're enjoying it!
