Hi everyone! Thanks for the positive feedback on Book 2.

I'm posting a bonus chapter (chapter 8) tonight. With the weekend postings, that will put Chapter 10 on Saturday evening. At about the time it posts I will turn on voting (as mentioned in the description).

By lucky coincidence, the start of posting Book 2 aligns with Steve's birthday (April 21). Of course there are presents - there'll be an extra chapter tomorrow (and yesterday's was extra as well).

Happy Birthday, Steve. And Happy Earth Day, too. And Happy San Jacinto Day (especially for my Texan readers, though everyone's welcome to celebrate).

The second-to-last chapter of Book 1 (88) will post tonight. The final chapter (89) will post on Monday. It ends on a cliffhanger.

The first chapter of Book 2 will post on Tuesday (April 20). So, if you don't want to wait for resolution of the cliffhanger, wait until Tuesday to read Chapter 89.

Book 2 will generally follow Book 1's posting schedule, but there will be bonus chapters in the first week (and likely more along the way). After all, Steve's birthday is the 21st. There should be some presents.

Voting for Book 2 will be off for the first 10 chapters, after which I'll turn it on.
