On the one hand - I don't care about votes. Or I should say - I don't let them determine what I write. I've said before I write for myself, write the stories that I enjoy, and if others do - glad you do. If you don't, read something else.

But I'm curious about why people vote as they do. So my latest story, as yet unfinished. "Everything I Ever Wanted: Side A", is sitting at 5.7. Ok - that's fine. Also seems to be my most divisive story so far. I see several 10's, and several 1's. More 9's and 2's matching. It is slightly more skewed to one side.

I'm ok with that. The character of this story is probably my worst. The other stories, you can say Sandy, Ryan, or Steve from "The Feel" were pretty normal guys, actually pretty decent guys, who were given powers/advantages they didn't expect that got out of their control, but so far, 2 out of the 3 reclaimed some morality (though I'd hardly call "impregnating multiple women/girls" moral men).

This Steve? What a dick. And so I'm not surprised at the range of scores, but I do sometimes cock my head and just go "Huh. Interesting. I wonder how they'll respond in one chapter more...."

Years and years ago I wrote a story, then for various reasons lost it. A reader even messaged me once asking if I'd ever repost it, but I couldn't because I didn't have a copy.

Then while dusting off old devices to get rid of, I found it. I gave it a look over and decided - what the heck. Let's let people read it.

It's more dramatic than my other works, so maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't.

And for those asking - yes I'm working on Invention II. I've had personal slowdowns - started a new business, and it's doing well enough my personal time is limited. But I'm dedicated to finishing Invention II before I die. Hopefully another chapter before the month is out.

No promises.

I'm looking over my latest story about Miss Elgin and see some typo. Derp. I'll fix those up today.

I'm going to have some extra time on my hands for a few days.

So - something I've never done: reader request. Have an idea based on the stories I've done before? Write in, and I'll pick the idea I like the most and write a one off story. No promises on length - likely to be about as long as "The Promotion" or so, but we'll see.

I'll have ultimate say in what gets done, but I figure open things up and see what shakes out.

It's about 4 am here now as I write this.

I first knew I was dominant when I was a teenager, but I didn't have the word for it or understanding or what it meant. Over the years my understanding has changed from horror that I was "bad" to understanding my nature, how to control it, and the girls who enjoyed giving up control over themselves to me. That sign of trust that I will do anything to them and they'll stay, and their trust that I'll control their pleasure and give them release through punishment while keeping them safe and guiding them through the way.

But it started with a picture in a book of a woman being whipped at a post, naked, her full breasts on display and nipples erect in arousal. The description on the pages wasn't a Dom/sub affair, just a bunch of non consensual enslavement of women with the male centric fiction of "women secretly love rape if you do it right" stuff.

After years, I finally found it while searching once again for what my barely teenage eyes had read. The book is "Mauraders of Gor" and there on a fan's web page was the picture. Not exactly as I remember, but I had most of the details right in my mind's eye.

Man. All these years and I finally found it. It's a relief to finally scratch that itch of curiosity that's plagued me all these years.
