Ok, I think that I need to address a few things as it seems that people are misinterpreting what and how I am writing. The first point is how I've had a few people wonder when I'm going to finish my stories. Allow me to paint a bigger picture for you.
The stories I write, aren't small little one offs or shorts. Each one would be classified as a Magnum Opus, which is Latin for Great Work. Each story I write has at least 100 chapters worth of storytelling and content, with no real end in sight.
If you would like me to draw a few comparisons, then my stories would likened in length to other such tales, like Frank Herbert's Dune, or the video game series the Witcher, or like the Star Trek and Star Wars universes. There is no end in sight as there are thousands of stories that can be told in each universe. I never, ever think small. I think big and it's either go big or go home.
Also, I have had some folks complain about the pacing of my stories, as in there's not enough to read and how they want more. I would be more than happy to do so, if I was at home all day, every day, writing. Sadly, that is not the case, as I am a working man, who writes in his spare time.
I know the sort of support that I would need to make it reality, doesn't happen overnight. You have to work hard, put in the time and keep releasing content, in order to amass a following. It's nice to imagine that sort of thing happening overnight, but it is what it is.
I do hope that this has cleared the air, so to speak, so I hope that everyone understands where I stand. As I have said once before and I will say it again, until I am able to write full time, please be patient with me, as I am doing all I can, when I can, to get more content out there to all of my faithful readers. Thank you for your time and understanding. Cheers!
Hello everyone! As the titles states, there is a lot to go over! So, let us first start with the news. I have just recently acquired a proper editing program, which has been a godsend for my stories! It catches the mistakes that sometimes slip past me and have the quality of my writing suffer. Now, with this new software, all of my mistakes and issues with my story quality is effectively handled!
Also, because of its effectiveness, I have decided to put my previous chapters through the program, to improve them! Which brings me to the updates! Now that I have the means to improve them further, every story chapter will be updated with the new fixes to them! To several of my readers who have critiqued my problems and grammar, thank you guys, for challenging me to be better and to do better!
Lastly, is news about the story vote! As some of you know, I will be reducing the amount of current stories from four, down to two, while adding a new one, that only my patrons on Patreon, will be able to see and read. The final vote to decide which two stories will remain my primary focus, on top of the new one, is closing.
The rules are simple. All four stories have been divided into two categories. Project Prometheus and Beyond Sight are in the Science Fiction category, while Gaia's Champion and Wings of Fire sit in the Fantasy category. Pick your favorite story from each category and vote by commenting on this post. If you have already voted, great and thank you! If you haven't and want to determine which stories are selected, then vote! The vote closes as of March 18th, 2019, 10:00PM, Eastern Standard Time!
On a final note, if you have any friends who you think might like the stories I write about, be sure to tell them about them! Even if they'd rather follow than support me, it would still be great to know that more people enjoy the worlds that I create.
Hope that everyone enjoys and anticipates what is to come and may the best story win! Cheers!
So, I have been thinking a few things over and have decided to reupload most of my work to the site. Yes, I have been listening to your comments and critiques and am applying them to my stories.
So, these new updates will not only be upgraded in the manner of errors and readability(even the one about low mortality rate) but also minus the additional commentary that some people have found annoying.
Most of my work has been adjusted in this way and I will continue to update and replace the other chapters for each story as the days go on. I hope everyone appreciates these new changes! Cheers!
So, I have news regarding my writings and the process in which they are finished! I have just recently found a beta reader and someone that I can trust to be my editor!
For me, this is great news, as now I will not be missing any typos or issues that plague my writing! Said reader and editor are also taking the time to go over my older work, so that it is improved and hopefully, perfected.
The updated versions of these stories will be uploaded to my Patreon page, as it is easier to do so there than it is here. And of course, for those who have been supporting my dream of writing full time, they get little extras like this, as they should.
For those who like and read my works, expect to see a marked improvement in future chapters. Thank you all for those who enjoy the stories that I write! Cheers!
So, for those who do not know, there is an ongoing vote, to determine which two of my four stories will become the primary focus of my writing efforts.
Currently, Project Prometheus has a solid lead over Beyond Sight in the Science Fiction category and Gaia's Champion is leading Wings of Fire in the Fantasy category. Though there is still time to vote for your favorite stories, that window is closing soon.
I have recently found a way that streamlines the writing I do, making the most effective use of my time, while maintaining the quality of my work. At the rate that I am writing, I expect that I will reach the endpoint of the vote in little over a month from now.
Just to reiterate, the vote closes once Wings of Fire ch. 04 drops on my Patreon page and has been there for at least a week. I am closing on the end of Gaia's Champion Ch. 04 and expect to have it up very soon!
If you haven't yet, cast your vote with a comment of a message to me here, on Literotica, Twitter or Patreon. If you follow me here, on Literotica or on Twitter, your vote will count as one. If you are a Patron of mine, then your vote will count as two! Remember, if you want to see your story become my primary focus, then vote! Good luck!
