Not particularly important, but I've put an update to the characters roster (Appendix 4) in the pub queue.
Found some writing time today and got it done. I don't know about subsequent chapters, yet.
I got well ahead in writing in Nov and Dec, such that I had as many as six chapters queued up at the same time. That helped a lot when I got little writing done over the holiday season. I've had little writing time in January, so I will almost certainly fall off what had been an every-four-days posting of the next chapter. I may get chapter 151 posted in January, but might not get any others up until February.
Every reader has favorite genres, topics, etc. I have a very narrow scope of story topics of which I'll even open the first chapter. Even most of the ones I open have what I would consider problems for me to continue reading them. I understand being disappointed by a story because it didn't go where a reader wanted it to go or presented scenes or info the reader doesn't care for. That happens to me all the time.
If a reader doesn't like something after a paragraph or a chapter, that person should move on. Surely the reader doesn't have so much free time that the reader has nothing better to do than flaming a writer that doesn't write the sort of stuff the reader wants to read. If someone does, I might be willing to trade. I could use a lot more free time (having just ended an 11.75-hour work day).
I've gotten a lot of writing done of late and have the next three chapters uploaded. Chapter 138 will post tonight; the others will follow at intervals of four days. I hope to get a lot more writing done before the time of various celebrations of various religions' holy days of the season, as I find it easy to imagine that my writing time will decline in abundance for at least some of that period.
Should I not find another chance, I wish all the best of the season.
