New chapter, finally getting things back to normal

Chapter 69 of Victory Tour has been submitted for posting. It may even be up by the time I finish this.

Sorry for the long delay, but life got in the way again. I had another fall in my bathroom. Fortunately, this one did not result in hospitalization like the last one. It still took me some time to get back to normal, though.

I got off my sleep cycle in a big way. I was falling asleep anywhere from late morning to midafternoon and waking up sometime between midnight and sunrise, when nothing in my little town is open. It took nearly three weeks to get back to something resembling a normal schedule. The trick now is to stay on it. I might ought to avoid late-night movie marathons. I didn't realize I own so many DVDs.

Anyway, I have made some progress on the story as well as forming the basis for another sequel. Imagine Gary getting crossways with the federal government and deciding to fight back. The guy has had issues with authority before.

In this chapter, he has to deal with a change to his Saturday night date plans. Sherry Parker is upset at missing her chance again. The substitute that's arranged for him turns into something of an adventure. But I'll let y'all see what happens for yourselves. Don't want to spoil the fun.

New chapter, this is a big one

Chapter 68 of Victory Tour has been submitted for posting. The events of this game are what prompted me to write a sequel to Best Summer Ever. How would our hero respond to being put into a situation for which he is totally unprepared? I just hope ASCAP doesn't come after the kid for copyright infringement.

There are a few things happening here that demand further exploration. Guess I'll have to keep writing to see where it goes.

Chapter 68 of Victory Tour has been submitted for posting. Gary survives another day of modeling and dinner with his family.

This one was pretty fun to write. How many of us havve ever dreamed of being able to tell our parents we're richer than shit?

On a personal note, things are slowly improving. I've been able to string more productive days together over the last couple of weeks, but still have days where I don't even want to move, let alone write. Hopefully, I can keep the upward trend going.

Chapter 66 of Victory Tour has been submitted for posting. Things are getting interesting for our hero. Unknown subjects following him around for no particular reason, strange men in fancy cars giving him bags full of money. Dang sure never happened to me when I was 17.

On a personal note, I seem to be recovering. The last week has gone as well as any. No sudden losses of energy, consecutive productive days, even regular bowel movements. I hope this means I can resume my regular schedule soon.

Finally posting a new chapter

Chapter 65 of Victory Tour has been submitted to the posting queue.

After five weeks in rehab and two back home, I'm slowly getting to where I can do some work. Typing is still difficult, but it's getting better. Now, I just need to get the story moving faster. The chapter I just completed for Patreon was over 28,000 words. I usually aim for about 10,000. Getting back to that pace will lead to more posts. So, fingers crossed!
