As everyone knows, I don't get much writing done when my kids are here. We're planning on going to pick them up on the 21st and they'll be here for almost two weeks. (Prolly take em home on the 4th). After that, I'll be able to either continue writing or (hopefully) type up anything I've hand-written.

My internet bill is paid up so that I don't have to worry about it until near the end of January. However, I have to ask for donations to help with gas for the trip to pick up my kids. I'm currently working on ch 21. Several revisions have been to my editors and back. They're still not happy with it. Hopefully, the changes I'm making this round will have a better response.

On the 21st of December, I'll be going to pick up the twins for their holiday break. Normally, I would only have them either the first or second week of that break, but this year, their mother thought they wouldn't be visiting for Thanksgiving and to make up for that I would have them for their entire Holiday Break. Yet, I ended up having my son down for Thanksgiving, so I'll have to get in touch with her to find out if the 'whole holiday' plan still stands or if she feels differently. <shrugs> I'll keep everyone up-to-date on what's going on.

I hope everyone's holiday went well. My was ... well, eventful... as in...

Tuesday: Pick up the twins for the holidays (I have boy-girl twins, 12yo and fun to be with)
Wednesday: help Mom make her turkey dinner, entertain everyone who showed up, try to spend some time with the twins.
Thursday: Go to cousin's thanksgiving meal, go to uncle's thanksgiving meal, go to Volunteer FD thanksgiving meal (yeah, on thanksgiving, cuz we have meetings on thursday nights) --- I've never been so tired of turkey.
Friday: Rest, and spend time with the twins.
Saturday: Take the twins home (so none of us feel rushed by taking them home the day before school).
Sunday: Suffer from 24-hour bug that won't allow you to keep anything on your stomach!!!
Monday: Recover from bug, eat leftovers.
Tuesday: Start writing again!!!

So, today, I finished the first draft to chapter 19 and sent it off to the editors. I got some feedback on chapter 18 and made some changes. The editors are looking that one over too (it'll be updated once everything is ironed out). And I'm already half-way through writing the first draft of chapter 20. So, even after everything I've eaten and suffered, I'm not slowing down any time soon.

I do have to continue to ask for support though. My internet bill is due: $65.00. I've had a couple of donations, but haven't reached that goal yet. If anyone can help out, I would appreciate it. Send donations through paypal via my email address (technicdragon@gmail.com)

--==( Thanksgiving )==--
It's getting close to Thanksgiving and I have a few things I'd like to mention.

I'm thankful for my children. I only have two. Got em in one shot. Twin boy/girl. Bess her, Brenna is in the hospital and won't be able to visit this Thanksgiving. It'll be the first holiday I've had one of the twins but not both. Intellectually, I knew they would grow apart since their interests are in different things, but not like this. My son, Morgan is looking forward to coming down, as always. The only other rough patch regarding this visit is the weather. I live in Texas and we don't get a lot of cold weather, but the next couple of days are cold with rain and sleet. I may have to hold off on going to pick up Morgan and visiting Brenna until Wednesday. If the weather permits, I'll go on Tuesday.

I'm thankful for my family. They've been fantastic this year. I've had more problems and been sick more this year than any year I can think of and they've been there every step of the way, helping and supportive. I hope I haven't been too much of a pain during all of that.

I'm also thankful for my fans. You've been supportive and kept me going through such a rough year this year. Thank you everyone.

I've submitted chapter 18 for posting. I'm hoping to have the first drafts for chapters 19 and 20 done before long. I know some of my editors don't celebrate Thanksgiving since they live i other countries, but even they deserve a break from my insistent queries of what they think of my efforts.

I know it's been a couple of months since I had to do this last, thanks to a couple of donors who went beyond what I was asking for and helped out with more than just paying the internet bill. Unfortunately, just like Time, utilities stop for no one. And while the internet isn't a utility, it has a monthly bill like one, and the company providing the service isn't doing so out of the kindness of someone's heart. So, should anyone have a couple of extra dollars lying around collecting dust, I would appreciate any donations you can make.
