The plan was for the twins to spend both weeks here with me for their Christmas break, but my daughter, who has been diagnosed as bi-polar, wants to go home to see her friends and spend some of her time off with her mom.

Right now, we're looking at taking the twins home on Wednesday (New Years Day) but we could be leaving as early as tomorrow. The real complication is only having one car for the house and my sister needing it to get back and forth to work.

Unfortunately, we were originally planning to take the twins home on Saturday (the 4th) because we would have the money the day before for the trip. With this change, I'm forced to ask for help.

The goal is $75.00. Any donations anyone can make will be helpful and appreciated. I have a Paypal debit card, so donations should be made through Paypal via my email address (technicdragon@gmail.com)

I know I haven't posted any new chapters lately but I have made some headway in getting some writing done. Any donations made will earn donors copies of the rough drafts of the up-and-coming chapters.

Earlier this week, I submitted updates to New Magus and Child Magus. The updates included various corrections throughout both stories as well as an appendix at the end of both and a review of characters at the beginning of Child Magus.

I recall getting many a email asking for such things, mostly because of the time span between postings of the two stories (as well as the time span between Child Magus and Sibling Magus), but now that I've updated the stories with those listings - to keep everything consistent with the layout - I'm getting emails about how the additions are distracting.

I know I can't make everyone happy, so to those who believe those chapters are distracting, I'll change them so they aren't listed as chapters but "Cast" at the beginning and "Appendix" at the end, that way you can skip them if desired.

I went and picked up my kids today. They'll be spending the next two weeks with me. I'll continue writing, but will probably end up too distracted to get a whole lot done. The donations were very much appreciated and helped immensely. Thank you.

As everyone knows, I don't get much writing done when my kids are here. We're planning on going to pick them up on the 21st and they'll be here for almost two weeks. (Prolly take em home on the 4th). After that, I'll be able to either continue writing or (hopefully) type up anything I've hand-written.

My internet bill is paid up so that I don't have to worry about it until near the end of January. However, I have to ask for donations to help with gas for the trip to pick up my kids. On the 21st of December, I'll be going to pick up the twins for their holiday break. Normally, I would only have them either the first or second week of that break, but this year, their mother thought they wouldn't be visiting for Thanksgiving and to make up for that I would have them for their entire Holiday Break. Yet, I ended up having my son down for Thanksgiving, so I'll have to get in touch with her to find out if the 'whole holiday' plan still stands or if she feels differently. <shrugs> I'll keep everyone up-to-date on what's going on.
