Tamalain: Blog

As I write, I tend to run on, the chapter growing ever longer. I was hitting 14k words, way to long. Now I am trying to break them up into smaller bites of 3500 to 4500 words each. I will admit, this does give me a bit of a buffer on a once a week posting. Book one is is about ready, book two is in final edit. Book three is started and rolling. I hope to start posting the "New Journeyers" series next month, November that is. Now to go get a bad tooth removed. sigh.

The Prolog and chapter one are locked and ready. Chapters two and three need final pass. Chapters 4 and 5 need full edit cycle, so they are not even close to ready. Chapter 6 is just started and needs writing. Once I have 15 chapters, by November I hope, I will start posting.

Comments are now on. I didn't think to look for a setting for them. At least I hope I turned them on.

I finally sat down and finished this story. It has been sitting in limbo for better than three years now. I also gave it a light link to what I am working on now. A tale of high adventure in a world where magic has all but been lost, and an evil from another realm is threatening it with destruction should it escape it's prison.

I start to write, phone rings. I start to write, family starts chattering at me. I try to write and my body says, go bio now. I mean, how many interruptions can I put up with some days. Yeah yeah, I know, I'm whining. I have four chapters in the can, working on chapter five now. Banadin has heard part of the prolog and will confirm I have created a character that is just over the top evil that must be dealt with.
