I received an email from one of my readers letting me know I needed to update my blog to let everyone know I’m still here and what I am involved with.
When I finished Sauce for the Gander Part 2, I decided to work on Opening Earth Part 4. It was a more difficult task than I expected. To start with, I had forgotten where I left Doug and his various activities. I found that I was lacking the focus to keep it all in my mind, so I decided to take a break. I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and give it another try.
I have a couple of shorter stories partially complete, so I may complete those in order to ease my way back into writing.
I’ll try to remember to stay in touch, but find I am becoming very forgetful.
To all my readers, thank you for your support.

Today, I received a message from one of my readers enquiring as to my health. So if you were wondering why I haven't posted lately, it isn't related to physical health for other than the normal aches and pains of old age, I'm doing fairly good right now,.
The main reasons I've done very little writing are primarily due to needing a break from writing, partly due to writer's block and partly due to just not being in the mood to write.
Hopefully, I'll get back to having fun writing soon.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my readers for their feedback on Part 3 of Time Scope, and my other stories.
I am currently working on a sequel to Sauce for the Gander. Unfortunately, life is intervening and slowing down my progress.
I have noticed a decline in my ability to focus on a storyline and to remember what has happened in prior Chapters and Parts. I intend to continue writing for as long as I am physically and mentally capable of doing so. Hopefully, I will able to bring a few of my serial stories to a close before I decide to stop writing.
Yesterday, I corrected a mistake that appeared in Opening Earth Parts 1 and 2.
A reader chastised me for inaccuracies related to what I said about sugar. He was correct. I had confused dextrose and sucrose. Sucrose is used to sweeten soft drinks, not dextrose. The refined sugar Doug sells the Multiverse markets is sucrose.
I win some and probably lose even more when it comes to what readers say are inaccuracies in the technical aspects of what I write about. Usually do to not fully understanding what I read about the topic and sometimes I fail to recognize the holes in my knowledge of a topic. Then there are the conflicting articles about a topic.
I just posted the Introduction and Chapter 1 of Time Scope Part 3. Remaining chapters (2-11) will be posted once a week on Tuesdays. Enjoy the story and let me know what you think.
