I want to say, "Thank You," to all those people reading Code Monkey. I want to remind readers that each of the chapters I've uploaded to the Submission Wizard so far are scheduled to drop, one chapter a month, to the moderators on the 19th of each upcoming month. Look for a new chapter after 10 pm or so on that date this month.
Later this week I am going to add another chapter, chapter 39, to that growing list already uploaded. Now that my 96-year-old mom is out of the hospital, I hope I can start making great strides on chapters 40 and 41 before this month's chapter is posted.
Good reads, good health, good friends, and good laughs to each one of you.
The moderators will get the next chapter of Code Monkey this evening at 8 pm. They might have it posted by 10 or 11 pm if they are not slammed. Hope all you readers of the tale enjoy it.
Looke for the next chapter of Code Monkey late on the 19th or early on the 20th. I just got the next two chapters back from my last proofreader last night. Those will be presented to the submission wizard sometime this week. Tnanks for reading.
The next two chapters are with my final proofer, so there will be three chapter in the submission wizard; a new chapter will drop to the moderators in successive months on the 19th at 8 p.m. and be posted as soon as they do what they do.
The next two chapters are going well. When I need a break, I've been going back and rewriting each chapter of the story. These are massive rewrites in the case of the first 8 chapters, which I made readers suffer through without any outside proofreaders. I now have a great group, without their work the story wouldn't be half as good as it is now. My writing skills have improved as well; thank you, Erik.
The first chapter was broken into two different chapters with additional material added and lots of the data dumps removed. All the following chapters of the rewrite will be about 50 pages in MS Word, so those over that size will be broken in two. Some of the present chapters are 80 to 100 pages long in MS Word. Once all the chapters of the story, to the original ending, are rewritten, I'll repost the new first book on SOL two chapters at a time, once a week. In that way, all the people who don't read long epics until they are concluded can read the story if they wish to do so.
Thanks for all the emails, from flaming my skills to offering support, praise, and constructive critiques. If one of your ideas about something in the story show up in its pages, I either stole your idea, or great minds think alike.
I'll continue with the long version and it will end where, and as it does now in my outlines. I'll publish the first chapter of the next book the same day this one ends.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
The next batch of chapters went out to first group of proofreaders last night. There will be two more chapters in the submission wizard with next month's chapter soon. Thank you to everyone who've sent emails. More clues are comeing.
