I seem to have lost a paragraph or two between chapter 25 and chapter 26. I will do a bit of rewriting and re-post Chapter 26 in a day or so.
Apologies to those who told me (or were about to tell me) of this discontinuity.
Folks - due to a domain registration hiccup, I am temporarily without an email address. My expert grand-daughter will sort it out eventually, but probably not until March, so that is why I will not receive your messages nor reply to them.
Sorry - life gets in the way!
Interesting to see one of my story ideas is also an Earthshot prizewinner this year.
On the planet Rehome I had a new company make a replacement for cardboard boxes from kelp (a type of seaweed), dealing with the way to make the material hard and not susceptible to taking in moisture. The real company has partnered with a seaweed company, while I had the local fishermen add kelp harvesting to their other tasks.
I was reading a story here when I nearly burst out laughing. The author used the terms 'pedestal and mortar' for grinding coffee. He obviously does not realise that a pedestal is what a stone column or a statue stands on.
The correct term is 'pestle and mortar'.
I would have contacted him directly, but he doesn't have that option turned on.
I have completed writing the next Reginald story, so I can start posting it shortly. This is the fault of all you people who ask, "When is the next Reginald story coming out?"
It runs to 30 chapters; that is why it took so long to write.
This miestone means that I am finally free to start on Nowhere Man, Book Three. I have to review the last few chapters of Book Two, so that I can get a head start on where that story left off. It was written so many months ago!
So, don't expect the next Nowhere man for at least a couple of months, as I have no idea what is going to happen (as is usual with my writing).
