He is tall for a pirate.
Standing at nearly six foot tall with shoulder length dirty blond hair, with bangs around his face and eyes so strikingly blue they almost seemed to glint like sapphire. His chest however looked ravaged with a kind of tattooing of past battles; there were lacerations that remained from previous conflicts. This, in itself, told a story, as there were scars from knife fights, bullet wounds from gunfights, and even what might look like an animal bite of some kind.
He wore a traditional pirate's tricorn hat, dark trousers, boots with knives in and a belt around his waist. His top was almost anticlimactic, a simple shirt barely covering his muscular chest.
He wore over that a long dark trench coat, on the back white skull and crossbones emblazoned on it, telling all who saw it that there was no mistaking what his occupation was. His right hand had a hidden blade attached to it, always sharp and oiled and ready to spring into attack at a moments notice.
To those of you who work with care, who work on the front line, in the kitchens and the hospitals. To those of who you have to sweep and mop floors, to those of you who are doctors, nurses and kitchen staff.
I salute you.
V8.
This is the time of great heroism, where we all must make a sacrifice for our countries. May you catch the sun and rise to Valhalla all shiny and chrome.
See you all on the flip side.
Argon is writing again, check out his work. It's a modern day tale and very interesting. As always I'm hooked on the first page!!
I've been looking up the story of Hugh Glass and wanted to add something similar to something I'm writing. In it Glass uses maggots to eat the infected flesh, but how would he have healed the wounds on his own. Would he have used fire and seared them?
I'm doing a little bit of research into exercising and was wondering if there was anyone out there that could lend a hand with something that I'm writing. Basically, it's part of a do over, our hero ends up back in time as the a-typical skinny kid and wants to exercise to stop being skinny. I could've done it as part of the Deus Ex Machina, but, I like him to earn it. If anyone could help me craft a routine for him that over the period of a year could see him become stronger and fitter that would be great!
