Hello Everyone,
This short story is 5,613 words long. The story structure is quite simple. I made an outline and followed it. No myth, no personal history involved, just simple erotica.
The story is heavy with sex interlaced with Domination and Submission. There is a lot of spanking (I like spanking.), lesbian interaction and threesomes. There is also many first times as well as some good honest lovin'.
I hesitate to call anything I write a stroke story, but this is probably the closest I'll ever get.
Feel free to leave feedback.
Enjoy,
Darian
Hello Everyone,
This short story is 4,067 words long. After finishing the Freya Cycle I was casting about for a new idea. Nothing seemed either do-able or interesting. Out of desperation, I pulled this from the forgotten story idea bin and wrote it.
All of us it seems have daydreamed about physical immortality. This is an exploration of what it might be like. Like my other stories, its framework is the SSA, though I did deviate from it somewhat.
This is not a feel-good story. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to leave comments and constructive criticism.

Hello Everyone,
As I said yesterday, here is a bit more information on the Freya Cycle. Originally, Freya was conceived as a single stand-alone short story. After I had finished it I realized that there was more to the story that I hadn't shared that was just as relevant as Freya. Hence, Way of the Warrior. The third story of the cycle, Triad was simply a wish fulfillment story extrapolated from the first two stories.
Now, let's look at The Cycle's structure. Each of the stories was written in reference to specific myths and archetypes.
Freya is self-explanatory to my pagan readers. Freya the character is an avatar of Freya the goddess. Throughout the story are various hints and references to the goddess.
Way of the Warrior is based on the Hero's Journey and the Wise Old Man as described by the Tarot trump card the Hermit. It is set against the backdrop of the basic tenets of the Native American shamanistic world view. It also has a strong foundation in the warrior ethos.
Triad had no new myth elements, rather it showed the myths and ethos being lived.
I've mentioned before that the cycle was written using the Shantaram Story Architecture model. It would take too long to cover the entire model. If you're interested look here:

I do wish to cover one of its components and that is the theme. Each story of the Freya Cycle has its own theme that is developed during the story. In the SSA, you use the theme by focusing on two of its facets.
In Freya, the theme is Sexual Healing as expressed by Acceptance and Illumination. I do not believe in the omnipotent power of the magical all healing Vajay-jay. I do know from experience that sex with the right person in the right context can touch and heal the deep emotional trauma that nothing else can touch.
In Way of the Warrior, the theme is Individuation as described by Jung and expressed by Maturation and Self Discipline.
In Triad, the theme is Communion as expressed by Empathy and sharing.
So there you have it.

Hello Everyone,
This short story is 7,121 words long. I was a bit worried as I have set a hard limit of 7,500 words as the maximum length of any story I write. For now, it is the last story of the Freya Cycle. It's time to move on to other things.
The story is framed as a trip down memory lane and uses the Shantaram Story Architecture as it's structure. I am thinking of placing another blog post tomorrow that will give a breakdown of various aspects of each story that you may find interesting.
Unlike the other stories of the cycle, Triad has nothing to do with the events of my life. It is a complete fiction that I hope resonates with truth.
I hope you enjoy the story.

Hello Everyone,
This new short story is 5,579 words long. It is a companion story to Freya. Its focus is on Brett's internal life and his growth as a human being during the time period of Freya. The story is cyclic and uses the Shantaram Story Architecture as it's structure. One new thing is that I used Brett's journal entries as a way of marking the passage of time throughout the story. There is also some myth work going on here as well.
As before, the events of the story are loosely based on my life with strong literary license applied. Brian was real. The poem "Sacred Silence" was written during my second year of training. More important than the esoteric teachings and philosophies, he taught me to confront and accept myself. His teaching led me to a long career of protecting others. The name Nightstalker is a "Use" name that was given to me several years after the poem was written.
I hope you enjoy the story.
