After my brush with death in August, I feel up to writing again. I'm sure my standards have slipped a bit as a neurological impairment will do that for you. The going is a bit slower than before as I ease myself back into the writing habit so I make no promises as to output. Today, I am posting a short story of 1,813 words titled Mr.Evans. I hope you enjoy it. As before feel free to contact me with honest criticism or praise. If you're just going to be an ass you can go fuck yourself as I have better things to do than listen to you. Hello Everyone,

I know that I said I would have a new story soon. However, life happens. I had a migraine that mimicked a stroke and left me with the parting love gift of speech aphasia. Which means that I have difficulty speaking and often sound like a mentally disabled child.

As you can guess, this is rather a life altering event and among the things I need to take care of writing is not one of them. As I have no idea how this will resolve I can make no promises as to when I will resume writing.

Today, I finished the last project that was keeping me from writing. I am firing up Scrivener and will have a new story up in about 2 - 3 weeks. Until then.

Hello Everyone,

I will be gone a few weeks more. My family is fairly well recovered from the loss of a member and we are expecting a new member to be born within the next week. Once we get the newest member settled in I will start writing again.

In the meantime, I have been doing a bit of study in Norse myth that will help deepen and flavor my stories. Have a good one!

I want to say thank you for the reception my stories have received. I appreciate the votes and personal feedback. As far as I know, I have responded to everyone that has reached out to me. If I missed you, I apologize.

Due to current and upcoming events, i.e. the death of a family member and the birth of a grandchild I probably will not be posting a story for at least six weeks. I may slip one in depending on circumstances, but I am not planning on it.
