I could discuss the pacing of a story, or not... How it reads, if I've dropped in enough detail to make Herman Melville jealous or something... I haven't? I Hope. Of course I hope that I've included enough detail to let my readers use their imagination to build out the world on their own.
But that's not the pacing I'm talking about. No I'm talking about the speed with which the current story I'm writing is appearing on the page.
I now have nearly four times as much as I had when I reported my return to writing. My web access is currently through the hotspot at the library so I'm a bit hesitant to get on email there as the connection is an 'open' connection. I'm even more concerned about posting here from the library as well for the same reason. So unfortunately for any fans I may have that means you may never see what I've written.
So I doubled the size of the story I've been poking at since just a little over a month. Granted I had less than a thousand words down when I started this afternoon.
Google is occasionally your friend and I should have used it earlier 'cause I found this: ñ 🙄 now I'm 😳
I'm intending to check out 1177 BC. Is there anyone here who has read the book? Who has listened to Eric Cline's presentation to the long now foundation?
I wish you all a very merry Christmas. If you celebrate something else, may you holy day(s) be joyous and bring you closer to family.
