Even the best research hospitals can have odd things happen. When patients are diagnosed with unusual conditions, they don't always learn in the standard way. It is not wise to assume that odd communications are the beginning of medical fantasies. Today, we have some of my interactions, more funny than not, first at a top cardiology research hospital and then at an overloaded community hospita.

The dialectic is a deep philosophical concept used, among others, by Hegel and Marx. It can be applied, as well, to the role of miniskirts and how best to appreciate them. At least, I thought so when they first appeared. It was, of course, a purely academic exercise to appreciate them and their wearers -- and actually did give cultural insight.

A Swarm Cycle Story
Early in the Swarm Cycle, U.S. intelligence starts working with the Confederacy. An exceptionally capable, but self-questioning, expert builds the strategic intelligence function, and also his household and clan, fixing up some past relationships with very smart and sexy female colleagues. This is a story for people that like detailed military things along with their sex, and want backstory.

A story in the Passion among the Pachyderms Universe
Around 1972, I found the Young Republicans (YR), the local Washington DC chapter and national activities there, to have lots of opportunities for sex and linking up with smart people. The latter tended to be in various wonk groups that still worked with one another, such as moderate Ripon Society and Bill Buckley's conservative Young Americans for Freedom We can be good like this again. This story has inflamed passions, so voting will not be enabled but thoughtful comments are welcome.

Any experienced emergency room (ER) will, without embarrassment or much surprise, see things that may have shocked the patient. These tails...I mean, tales...are vignettes of the sorts of things that cause one to seek medical attention to retrieve objects where they should not be. No permanent damage was encountered.

In Green Berets, you met people, mostly in glowing health, exploring sexuality, eroticism, and emotions in what was becoming far more than a strip club. This story adds depth and people to what is becoming more and more of a clan. No sexually transmitted infections exist in this world. Only a few germs were hurt in the making of this story.
