Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations, a Vulcan belief, meets the Hierarchy of Needs of Abraham Maslow. That's a new universe of mine, which draws from James Bond, not to say that you only live twice, but you come of age twice:
Once as a youth
Once as an adult defining where you want to go, in this case, polyamorously.
Characters are drawn from my own experience, and I hope are more real, complex, and yes, sexy, than in other tales. They will address much of the range of human sexuality.
Tales based on real experience of the politics of joy and cooperation, sex as a happy lubricant. Ideas here are constructive approaches to improving, not attacking current politics.
Backlash against religious conservatism and sexual control in the US led to a new social compact, where Registered Courtesans, and their associates, restored the honor and pleasure of sex workers who were Safe, Sane, and Consensual (SSC). Sexual trafficking and abuse were even more disapproved of.
This Brave New World explored several ways to make it real: sexual behaviorism based on the bonobo, the hippies of the primate worl, aimed at the lower levels of Maslow's Pyramid; the best practices of sex-positive researchers, helping people self-actualize in the Maslow model; a feminist branch of organized crime.
Based significantly on real experiences, this is a universe that draws from the sexual revolution days principally in the 1970s, and, where useful, from the 1980s. Much will take place in the Washington, DC, area.
The actual period was one in which STDs were under control. Assorted sexually oriented businesses -- strip clubs, dungeons, swing clubs -- operated openly. This doesn't mean that individual characters won't have emotional stress or sometimes non-sexual disease, but that police raids are not a threat.
My readers should be careful with cybersex, where carpal tunnel syndrome remains an STD.
Science fiction, time travel, do over, autobiographical with historical accuracy except for the alternate history. It begins with the Cuban Missile Crisis, an effort to avoid Global Thermonuclear War, and bonding my clan with intellect, honor, and hard sex. While you will find nuanced discussion of the balance between the Joint Chiefs of Staff and John F. Kennedy, you will also find a use of sexual magick rather like that of Alistair Crowley. The clan also is bonded by humor that I hope you'll enjoy.
"Venery" is a generic term for collections of animals, such as a parliament of owls or a murder of crows. Appropriately enough, it's also an archaic term for sexual activities.
This is a collection of positive stories about women and men who want Americans to use their minds and bodies to advance politics and the common good. There is no unintentional pregnancy, including the creation of politicians through anal sex.
