Week 8

They had plans for getting together Sunday which was the 4^th of July and seeing one of Aaron's friends then getting dinner with another friend. Aaron picked Liz up from her house and then drove to his friend's place. The first friend they saw was TJ. TJ was born with a genetic defect that is very well known, which caused him to be confined to a wheelchair. TJ at the time was the stereotypical DIRTY OLD MAN (though he was only 30). They were there for awhile talking about this and that and TJ and Aaron were harassing each other like always. A few times Aaron tried to kiss or hold on to Liz and she nudged him off. Basically it seemed like Liz was back to her ways of not doing any PDA's in public.

Aaron finally had enough of that and blew up at her. He said he had no problem while at school, but they are supposed to be Girlfriend and Boyfriend, and this crap about not being able to show that they are together was ridiculous. He didn't want to blow up in front of his friend, but in same token his friend knew there was a certain point that he would snap when something bothered him long enough. Liz tried to say that he was over-reacting, but Aaron wouldn't listen. Aaron and TJ just sat down and played video games to cool Aaron off. In the middle of a race his cell went off, which TJ stopped it long enough to let Aaron pick it up then started it again so he could win while Aaron was distracted. It was Aaron's friend Juni. Juni was the one they were meeting for dinner.

Aaron finished the race begrudgingly for he was winning before TJ's stunt. Aaron and Liz went to get Juni for dinner. Aaron had borrowed his dad's mini van so he could take Juni and Liz out to dinner. Later in the week would be Juni's birthday so he was taking her to Sonic's for her birthday. During dinner Juni got to know Liz and vice versa. Aaron tried to keep them talking, since Juni was a close friend to Aaron. They met while taking their Bachelor degree. Juni seemed to like Liz.

Soon as they were done with dinner Aaron took Juni back home and invited her and her mom to his house to watch him set fireworks off (it is the fourth after all). Juni was going to drive her and her mom to Aaron's house, so Aaron and liz left to meet them there. Aaron took a different route then Juni and made it home only a few minutes before Juni. Funny how it might have been longer for some people but still he left a good 10 minutes before her. No wonder they call her speedy. When Aaron got home his parents weren't home since his truck was gone so he was hoping to get some alone time with Liz but then Juni showed up (Damn her). So Aaron went inside to get the fireworks and lighters.

Aaron came out and set up. He said hello to Juni's mom and then asked Juni if she wanted to set some off, which she said that was okay. He had some good left-over's from the years he hadn't set off. So he used some of the noisy ones first. He set one off that was a 61 shot mortar fire, so he lit and ran. He scared all three women out of their skin when that went off and sent some over the garage where they were hiding out at. He set off several fireworks before it was time Juni left to get her sister. During the setting off of the fireworks his parents got home, so that was a buzz kill for any plans after Juni left.
