Which of Marsh Alien's excellent stories to choose? I've selected 'Living Dolls' as it was his first and shows the full range of his talents.
Modern Wizardry by lsilverlyn Old time magic in down-town California. Well constructed, well thought out and well written. Such a shame it was never finished.
Oil of Roses by Jim Reader Every so often you meet a story that is significantly greater than the sum of its parts. This is one of them. If you want to lern how to write - read this.
Rewind by Don Lockwood Yet another excellent 'coming of age' story, despite the author's obsession with Bruce Springsteen.
Road Rash by Merlin Cycling? Sexy? It is here! The cycling is authentic, the women hot.
Summer Can Kill by satyricon.21 A well-paced thriller from a an excellent British writer. Contains the immortal line, 'Eat your heart out, George Smiley.'
Tangent by Gina Marie Wylie The first of GMW's true SF stories; tautly written, superbly paced and genuinely original. Should be gracing the shelves of all superior bookstores.
Thunder and Lightening by Lazlo Zalezac Nice to read a story where the hero isn't a mild-mannered nerd. A convincing story of a big man with a big temper.
