Correcting mis-spellings

Particular thanks to reader, "nutherwunn". I have been a survivalist, of sorts, since my days on Da City's EMS, which was approaching 40 years ago. You might imagine that, not only would I be familiar with the concept of TEOTWAWKI, BUT, I might know how to spell it! You might think so, but, apparently, you'd be mistaken! Thanks for the correction.

Emily In The Dark: my highest scoring story

Thank you to all who have read it, and THANK YOU! to those who have commented, and voted. This is my highest rated story (at 7.20), edging out "Kathy, Again " (7.18), "Sandra's Hidden Depths" (7.10), and "Road Trip Tease" (7.06). While I write, what I write, and how I write, in order to (let us say...) "amuse" myself, it is very pleasant to contemplate that others have found my efforts entertaining. So, Thank You!

Reminds me of a joke. The story goes, that there was rock star, who met a groupie after the show. Things developed as you might expect, at this sort of site, and in this sort of joke, and they wound up in his hotel room. She was huddled beneath the sheets, clothing scattered upon the floor, when he tossed his shirt upon the pile. He dropped trou, and the woman sat upright, and asked, loudly, "Just who do you expect to please, with that stubby little thing?"

Our Protagonist contemplated the aforementioned "stubby little thing", shrugged, and answered the question. "Me!"

I've submitted Chapter Five. A couple of folks noted that the first three chapters did not have sex. Well, I hope you liked Chapter Four! There one remaining chapter, running around 10 pages, to post after today's installment. Please, comment and vote! Thanks for reading!

Chapter 4 of Emily in the Dark

Chapter 4 has just been submitted for posting. Many folks have written to comment on this story: thank you, all, very much! Thank you particularly for the engagement that commenting readers have shown.

I hope that you enjoy the next chapter. I tried to write something I'd (ahem!) enjoy reading.

And, while I have your attention, let's all be thankful. I'm thankful for, among other things, the other writers on this, and other, site(s). Among these are Samantha K (Really! Read her Samantha Draco stories! I shit you not, read 'em!), Lubrican (as if I had to tell you why!), T. S. Fesseln, Al Steiner (I don't think I've read a single one of his stories, that I did not enjoy), and, (HEE'SSS BAAA-AACKK!) Dangermouse.

I've already spoken of my gratitude for firefighters, EMTs, Cops, docs, nurses, pharmacists, and all the other folks who are working Thanksgiving, away from their families, so that, should you or I need them, that they're there.

If you need them, please consider saying "Thanks!"

New Chapter of Emily in the Dark

I just submitted another chapter of Emily In The Dark. I have had several lovely people comment upon it (Thank you all, very much!), and had a couple question some of the premises upon which I base the story. Again, thank you for reading, and becoming engaged enough to question things.

This story was triggered after I read "The Walk" written by Lee Goldberg. I wondered how a similar trip might be triggered here in Northern Michigan, and how that might work out for a guy like me. Then, of course, I wondered how I could work a porn angle into it. Stories like "In Kind" by LOAnnie2, in addition, played into my deliberations, wherein the cute young woman feels obligated to demonstrate her gratitude in classic and unmistakable terms. So, Viola!, I started to write.

Nest chapter will begin the consideration of how an adult woman may consider thanking the man who tries to make sure that she is going to get home safely. (nudge, nudge, wink-wink!) I hope you all enjoy it.
