A shorter story that will be posted around the Independence Day weekend, starting today and then two chapters daily, finishing on Sunday. No other special reason for that except the fact that the big presidential party is mentioned at the story - and that I had to clean out my head a bit between the longer stories.

Even if there is 'part 1' in the name of the story I give no promises when there will be part 2. I have enough work on my desk already.

Okay, 'Collateral Damage book II' is now fully out - almost in a way I wrote it already a few years ago. I decided to post it even if I wasn't fully happy with it myself - mostly because already back then I had a vision about book III and chancing book II would most likely have also required changes to book III... - Thus, it is what it is.

'Hidden Heritage book II' is now going through the second edit round and there'll be two more read-troughs before I can start posting it. Besides the final books of those two trilogies there are some short stories that I may post at some point - but in general there'll be a short break before I post anything new.

A new chapter posted today - and voting opened. Four more chapters to come.

Bad news first: I forgot to post the next chapter of 'Collateral Damage Book II' yesterday, so I'm posting it today, asap. Sorry about that.

The good news and the main reason for that blackout is that the first version of 'The Hidden Heritage Book II' is almost finished, there only a bit more to add to the last chapter. Of course it still means that my editors will most like tore the story apart, after which I will wail and whine for a while and finally agree with them. Unfortunately that process will take some time.

Yes, posting the second part of the story (The Sacrifice) will start soon. This story has been 'hanging there' unedited for some time, but once I decided to post that book I also got started the editing process of this story - and now it's done. I have also outlined and started the Book III (The Redemption), but there will be no promises when it will be finished.

Beware, that trilogy is probably darkest set I've ever written and the last one that I dare to locate inside the U.S. soil - even if that country offers so many tempting possibilities. Almost everything is possible there - not forgetting the idealism: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." At least sometime in the future I'll probably stay the areas that I know myself at least somewhat. Or if it's fantasy I can make the rules by myself.

I'll try post at least one chapter per week, but since my main target is to finish the book II of the Hidden Heritage, I will make no promises, though. I have also made some angry mental notes to myself for NOT to try writing two trilogies at the same time ever again...
