Hello again everyone. I was reading some stories on this website recently (some very good ones) and I began to fantasize. I do this a lot. I probably spend at least two hours a day fantasizing, mostly during work. It's good for me. It keeps my brain busy, my disposition pleasant, and helps me write scenes.
One thing I noticed a while back was that I often put these fantasies to music. Even re-reading my own work I tend to hear music as I read. Then I listen to music on the radio or on my computer and I replay scenes in my head.
I was wondering if anybody else does this. When you see something on TV or a movie, or read something in a book, or even when playing a video game, do you place music with it. Or is the opposite true? That is, do you listen to a song and either remember a scene that you saw or read, or create one of your own to the melody.
If anybody has any examples they would like to share with me I'd be delighted to read them. I would especially be interested to hear what music people think about when they read my work. I submit this as an open invitation for future feedback. Let me know what this, or any other story that moved you made you think about.
As for me and ABW, there are a variety of tunes and genres that strike me as powerful. I don't want to give any of them away right now though for fear of coloring your responses. I will say that I tend to create fight scenes in my head when I listen to rock or techno to rival those of any wire-fu action flick or big budget robot fighting pop-corn movie.
Just a fun little experiment while the next chapter is finished.

Hello again, friends. So sorry to keep you waiting on the next chapter. It is in its final stages of editing and should be ready by next week. It has been a very unexpectedly difficult few weeks for me to find the time to write as life threw me several curve balls. I didn't handle all of them very well.
That said, I haven't given up. Thanks for you patience. And be on the lookout for a new chapter from Joe Brolly soon as well.
