Recovering from childbirth, Jeanette decides to invoke "the tiger," which Bob can become when sufficiently provoked sexually.

It is Bob's birthday. He can't imagine a present nicer than The Kitten, the daughter his wife presented to him a few months previously. Still, he expected *some* celebration; and he doesn't see any.

Bob's sister, Vi, comes to be godmother to The Kitten. She is joined by her boyfriend, Charles.

The longest story of the Brennan series. Bob, Jeanette, and The Kitten are visiting Bob's parents for Christmas.

Bob and Jeanette visit Bob's parents for Christmas, bringing with them their daughter, Cat, aged 4 1/2.

Bob and Jeanette spend the evening with their daughter reading a belated Christmas letter from Bob's mother. Then they spend the night making themselves happy.

Bob and Jeanette Brennan bring their daughter, Cat, to visit Bob's Mother. Bob's sister, Kathleen Violet, is already visiting with her husband, Charles. While this story is intended to stand alone, it probably will be enjoyed more by those who are familiar with the other Brennan stories, especially _Forgive the Delay_, which precedes it directly.

Kathleen Violet and Charles are ending their vacation, but they're taking with them some questions as to how their marriage can be improved. This story might be more meaningful in the context of _Formez vos Bataillons_, the preceding Brennan story.
