A story of the growing-up years of Ron Francis in the '50's and 60's. His mistake in judgment with his mother and father, his university years, his reunion with his mother, his love life and finally, his passage into adulthood.
Perhaps he had read too many Hardy Boys novels or perhaps he was on to something. His mother's behavior left a lot to the imagination. In the late 1950's, everyone wanted to be a Private Eye.
Ron Francis is hoping to find his mother as he begins a new life at University in Oregon. He badly needs to explain and apologize to her for what he has done.
