St. Mary’s Institute for Young Ladies —
A Universe from the Mind of P. Tango
St. Mary’s Institute for Young Ladies wasn’t a regular school. In old times it would be called a “finishing school.” The students were taught social graces, as well as subjects as domestic economy, haute cuisine, protocol and a series of skills -finance, business, enterpreneurship, and sex- to become wives -and lovers- of the very rich and powerful.
Peter Robinson, a fresh-faced and eager teacher, cannot believe his luck when he is offered the coveted position at St. Mary's School for Young Ladies. Desperate to prove himself, he eagerly accepts the job without question.
As he meets Mrs. Duran, the alluring but stern principal, she makes it clear that he has been handpicked by a mysterious sponsor to teach at this elite finishing school, where he will be responsible for molding the daughters of the wealthy and powerful into wives and lovers
Mario’s shooting was supposed to look like a robbery. It isn’t. Now St. Mary’s is rattled, students are scared, and the balance of power is shifting. Peter should be preparing to take control. Instead, he’s fighting to keep the school from collapsing under pressure no one can openly name. Angela is pulling the students together. Vicky is tracking the shooter. Mrs. Durán is holding the trust at bay. If Mario wakes, they get answers. If he doesn’t, the next shot won’t miss.
