The story of how Trudi Maclean, a 14 year old student, came into the life of retired English Professor Simon Armitage.
It all begins with a chat on a park bench that leads to Simon agreeing to tutor Trudi, but then Trudi soon begins to tutor Simon in ways neither of them expected.
NB: this is a slow series, with a focus on character, and trying to keep Simon and Trudi and all that happens to them as realistic as possible. If you are looking for stroke material, this isn't the story for you as there isn't any thus far and isn't likely to be any in the near future, if ever.
Professor Simon Armitage, in his late middle age and recently retired, sits down on a park bench one summer's day to enjoy smoking his pipe and reading his book. Then he meets Trudi, a fourteen year old who asks him to be her private tutor. He agrees, and life is suddenly full of surprises, not the least of which is Trudi's behaviour...

The relationship between Simon and Trudi begins to develop. Friday night sees Simon discovering an unanticipated joy of technology. On Saturday he meets a former student who is looking for further tutoring. And Sunday means lunch for Simon with the Macleans. Lunch, of course, means 14 year old Trudi conspiring to find inventive ways to expose herself to Simon during the meal, all without her mother unaware catching them.
Simon gets a shock when Sandra invites him for lunch to discuss Trudi's behaviour, though victory is unexpectedly snatched from the jaws of catostrophe. Meanwhile, lessons with Trudi continue to be diverting, especially when she asks if Simon might be interested in tutoring her best friend Jemma... NB: no sex but coded because of there being plenty of teenaged nudity.
Simon's life continues to grow in complexity. On the one hand, he is interviewed by Jemma's parents. On the other, there is a knock at the door in the middle of the night and there, on the doorstep, wearing just a jacket and a over-sized tee-shirt, is Trudi, bringing with her the night of Simon's life...
After receives a phone call from a former colleague, and is introduced to Seonaid MacQuoid, a woman with an interesting past she is looking for help in turning into a book she can sell. Simon cautiously agrees, becomming less cautious when he learns of her career as a soft core model. Meanwhile, Simon also takes his first lesson with Jemma, who proves herself to be a revelation as she strives to learn more of herself and her nascent sexuality, spurred on by the ever-present Trudi...
Simon's misgivings continue as his life gets more and more complicated. Girding his loins, he resolves to put the brakes on Trudi's exhibitionism, but all does not go to plan, and instead of curbing her behaviour, he discovers she has escalated in a new direction. He also comes to suspect that he is no longer interested or capable to stop her. NB: story code witheld as it gives away a major plot point.
Simon takes lunch with Vernon, and discovers that what takes place outside the lecture theatre does not impact on the delivered professionalism within. He also goes ahead with arranging something a little different to solve the problem of tedious housework... NB: coded for what is described, not necessarily shown.
Simon has a busy week. Jemma gets catch in the rain and Trudi gets caught in the garden. When someone from Bikini-Cleaners calls, Simon receives another revelation. Eleska discusses her feelings for her uncle, and Seonaid teaches Simon more about the adult world. NB: some codes are more explicit than others.
