Sherwin's Falls is a small community situated on the American border south of Montreal between Valleyfield and Hemmingford, in the heart of apple-growing country. The village was gradually dying when a stranger comes into town, rebuilds the old boarded-up hotel as a 17th century English pub and inn and sets up Canada's largest and most elaborate naturist resort next door and across the street from the presbyrterian church.
