The story of three sisters, Sophie, Sarah and Samantha, who realise that there are real vampires in this world, and moreover they have the ability to either kill them or ‘revive’ them. Silencing the beast is how the sisters ‘revive’; by restarting the heart, and getting the blood pumping, and the organs working; by forcing the vampire host to use its lungs and to breathe. The sisters had managed to revive just three vampires to start with. The brothers, Caine and Matt Stevens and Christian Manford – and in return these three pledged themselves to the sisters. Of course, not all the vampire world wanted to be revived. The Elders of the vampire world certainly did not, and so ordered the deaths of these sisters, and any who might aid them. The small group fled, and found a sanctuary – of sorts, in Christian's family home; cared for now by his great, great, great nephew – several times removed – Chris. Of course, their peace could not last, and when Samantha and Chris, were suddenly kidnapped, the revived three went out hunting for them, foolishly leaving Sophie and Sarah unprotected. All of the sisters were abducted, although Sophie and Sam, managed to find each other and then to escape their captors, and get to safety. Chris and Sarah however, were nowhere to be found at first, until Caine received word of Chris. It was not good news that he received. Chris has been turned into a vampire, by the seductress Miranda. She had no choice she claimed, she found him already drained and did the only thing that she could to save his life. She took him to a place of safety, to give him time to adjust to his new state of being, and Christian and Sam went after them, leaving the rest to go after Sarah. And so now... The Seed of a Demon Samantha had pledged to try and revive Chris, but so far her attempts at reviving anyone have been a complete disaster. Can she succeed with Christian's nephew, where she failed so dismally with Christian? Meanwhile the others have managed to find where Sarah is being held. The number of revived vampires is growing it seems. When they find her, they discover that Sarah has been busy, in her captivity, and is surrounded by newly revived vampires. However there are consequences to some of these revivals, consequences which are still to be discovered and will need to be dealt with...
