Chapter 28: Twins Can Be Twice the Fun

With a new baby in our house and the twins moving in, the population in Camelot was building back up. It was so nice to have the delightful sounds of youth busily buzzing around filling the house with life. The twins were enjoying the summer with swimming, exploring and horseback riding keeping them busy every second.

I decided to get to know the twins a little better so I had them come to my den one at a time to chat with me. "Allison, could I talk with you in my den please?"

"Sure, Mister Sherwood. What do you want to talk about?"

"First, I want you to call me Art. Mister Sherwood was my father's name and I am not near that old."

"Okay Mist— er, Art. What's up?"

"I want to get to know you better. Why don't we go to my den where we can talk privately?"

We made our way to my den and I closed the door. We took a seat on the couch so I started out, "Allison, tell me about you."

"Where should I start?"

"How about where you were born?"

"We were born in Austin, Texas. Mom was a legal secretary and dad was an electronics engineer. They both worked for an aircraft manufacturer."

"How was your childhood?"

"Amelia and I got along like two peas in a pod. We did everything together and had the same interests. We were quite popular in school and when we were old enough we were both on the JV cheerleading squad. When we started dating at thirteen we went out with the same kind of boys. It was comical that we would swap dates and really had the boys confused. We went steady with a couple of boys and almost always double dated. We both got our first boyfriend kiss at the same time at a drive-in movie."

"What was the name of the movie?"

"It was When Harry Met Sally."

"Obviously a chick-flick."

"Yeah, but the boys liked it since Meg Ryan was in it."

"I kind of like her too. She's really some hot chick but not as pretty as you."

"Oh Art, are you flirting with me?"

"Whatever gave you that idea?"

"Well, to start with you are holding my hand."

"Does that bother you?"

"Not at all, I kind of like it. Amelia and I both think you are a kind of a hunk."

"I'm flattered, but now it looks like you're flirting with me."

"Oh, I'd never do that. You're a married man." Giggle, giggle.

"Yes I am but Grace and I have a very open marriage."

"Is that why you have sex with Kim and Cathy?"

"I don't have sex with them. We make love and there's a big difference. We do everything we can to bring pleasure to our partner. Our own pleasure is secondary. I consider a lovemaking session a failure unless my partner has at leas three orgasms before I have one."

"Sounds dreamy; do you suppose we could make love some time?"

"Allison, I'll be perfectly frank with you. You are a very sexy and desirable girl and I would love to make love with you. I do, however, have a rule that I will not make love with a girl until I love her and am devoted to her."

"How can I make you love me?"

"Just be yourself and be truthful not only to me but to yourself also. If you do that I'm sure we'll get along just fine and who knows? Love may bloom. By the way, are you a virgin?"

"Amelia and I both lost our virginities on a double date with our steady boyfriends. It was our fourteenth birthday and we both thought the boys loved us. We were out parking at a spot that had a nice view of the city below. I was in the front seat with my boyfriend and Amelia was in the back with hers. We were making out hot and heavy and decided that we would let the boys go all the way."

"How was it?"

"It was terrible. It hurt a lot and as soon as they came they both pulled out leaving us totally frustrated. I guess there wasn't any love because they never dated us again. We felt so used and gave up on boys after that."

"You haven't dated since then?"

"We haven't even kissed any boys since then. It's been over a year."

"That's a long time to go without any affection. How about your foster parents?"

"They took care of us after our parents were killed in an accident. They provided for us but we only got occasional pecks on the cheek. There was no love and I think they were only interested in the money the state paid them. Our foster dad was getting friendlier and when we were alone he would kiss us on our lips. He would hug us for a long time and when I noticed a bulge in his pants pressed against my leg, I decided we needed to get out of there. That's when we contacted the lawyer who wrote to you. I guess you could say that you rescued us from a very dangerous situation."

"That is most disturbing. Has he been charged with anything?"

"The lawyer told us that there was not enough evidence to have the man arrested but that we did the right thing wanting to get out of there. When he told us that he had found a distant relative we were ecstatic with joy. He got the wheels turning and we were flown up here right away. You know the rest of the story."

"Let me tell you that there are far too many cases like yours about girls in foster care being abused. One of the reasons I agreed to take you in was that I care for you both and want to see you happy."

"Does that mean you'll make love with us now?"

"I care for you guys but I don't love you yet. I will admit that it will not be very long before I do love you. I have strong feelings for you but at this point it is too much physical attraction and not enough emotional attraction. I am dedicated to your safety and well being and would not let anything bad happen to either of you."

"How did you get to love Kim?"

"I had known Kim for several years and we built up a close affection between us. Grace was a single mom so I was the only male influence in Kim's life. She attached herself to me and did everything in her power to seduce me. It was a struggle to keep our relationship the way it was without getting carried away and making a big mistake. Sure, I was in love with Kim and we were sexually intimate but no intercourse. It wasn't until Grace and I had a long talk that we decided it was time to take it to the next level. "Art, can you tell me about yourself?"

"Well, that's a complicated story. I don't remember too much of my childhood other than I was a spoiled brat only child of very rich parents. My folks and my aunt and uncle were killed in a plane crash and I inherited their fortunes. A turning point in my life was when I read a story about the sex-slave trade in this country. I made it my cause in life to rescue as many damsels in distress as I could find."
