When we got home, I called a family meeting. "Look, I just wanted to apologize for yesterday. I have a lot on my mind, and I took it out on you guys and that was wrong. I'm sorry."

"You don't have to apologize." Zane shrugged.

"Yeah," Ivan smiled and said something in Russian.

"Which means?"

"It doesn't hurt for you." Janos translated. "He says it all the time, Boss." Johan added.

Right. He did, now that I thought about it. "Well, fine, then for the rest of you: sorry. Thanks for putting up with me."

"Don't be silly, Papi." Juan crossed the room and kissed my cheek. "Everybody has bad days."

"You don't." I snarked. "I can't the last time any of you had a bad day. Except Grumpy." I got a few smiles from that. "Ok. So. Resume the schedule, as is - unless anybody wants to jump ship? No? Good." I was actually worried about that. "Oh, and last thing - is our help wanted ad still up?"

Juan and Sean both nodded. "We get candidates every so often who get past the automated filters, but no good ones in a while."

Sean agreed. "Yeah, and no one new since Vanni has played the game."

"Ok. Pull it all down."

"Oh." Juan frowned. "Ok."

"Problem?"

"Well, there are a few candidates who are in process still. I mean, no one who's at the personal interview stage, but you know..."

So maybe my twelfth boy was already on his way. "Ok. Pull the ad itself, but leave anything you need to work these last few. I think the schedule's full enough for a while. Let's see where what we have takes us."
