Chapter 38

Our Cousins' houses were very similar to our Parents' houses, as each of our Cousins has five children. Even though there are only four of them who are married to the current Grand Master of the Union and his Brother, they have twenty children between them: four sets of male twins, four sets of female twins, plus each one had a single child, so there were two more male and two more female children.

They only visit us occasionally any more, as their children are similar in age to the children of our families. They are being groomed for the positions that they will occupy in the Government of the Union when they are old enough. They all have strong Talents, but not as strong as ours.

The first house that we entered was similar to my family's house, and I took it, since the other house was similar to the one that Kell's family occupies, and he would be more comfortable there. Our girlfriends were fine with our choices, as everything here was new to them.

I spent a little time pointing out various features of the house to Sunshine and Rose, as we explored it. There wasn't much in the way of food in the kitchen since my Cousins hadn't visited in quite some time. It was obvious, however, that our Dads had used a cleaning spell while here previously, as there was no dust, or any of the other usual indicators that the house hadn't been lived in for a while.

The twins were especially interested in seeing the master bedroom, and its attached bath. There was a king-size bed there along with the other usual furniture for a bedroom in our Reality. The bed had already been made up, and the windows had been opened plus the ceiling fan was running. The twins were especially interested in the large ceiling fan, and that required a bit of an explanation. It certainly helped cool the room. We were now in Georgia in July after all, and it was hot here -- hotter than the twins were used to in fact; as Ireland seldom, if ever, has the type of weather that is normal here.

The twins quickly passed through the bedroom, however, to check out the large bathroom. It too was similar to the bathrooms in the master suites of our Parents' houses. There was a large tub, a shower with a glass surround that was large enough for three or four to shower in comfortably. A counter with triple sinks, and a large toilet along with the usual mirrors and towel hangers completed the bathroom.

The twins tried the water in each of the appliances to be sure that everything really worked. There was also soap near each appliance and some bath salts on the side of the tub.

"Yes, all of your houses have water that comes out of the walls, and the Magic-powered lights that work with a switch," Rose told me in a very satisfied voice.

"We want to try the shower place later to see what it is like," Sunshine told me, as she and Rose rubbed themselves against me suggestively.

"We need to finish looking at the house," I told them, enjoying their attention a lot, but realizing that we would be expected at dinner shortly.

"All right!" they agreed, but seemed disappointed. We returned to checking out the master suite.

There is also a large walk-in closet off of the bath, and there was some clothes hanging in there. There was also clothing in some of the dresser drawers in the bedroom. The twins were not impressed with my Cousins' choices of clothing or underwear. They did, however, like some of the dressing gowns hanging in the closet, and some of the sleepwear that was in the dresser drawers.

They had brought their own combs, hair brushes, and a few other things with them from Glenquin Castle, but found the ones left on top of the dressers to be of a better quality than theirs.

We checked the remainder of the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor before returning to the first floor. We were in the living room, and I was preparing to show them the television and demonstrate the music system, when Kell and his ladies joined us.

"It's time for dinner," he announced, as they entered.

"Did our folks call you?" I asked looking at the phone on the table neat the sofa.

"No, our Mothers sent the Mac Sweeney Sisters a message. It seems that they can talk to them over their mental links," Kell told me, to my total surprise.

"Yes, we 'talked' to them when we were in Kell's house with his Mothers, and they were in your house. It was nice to be able to 'talk' with other women," Airmid told me. I just stood there stunned for a minute or so.

"Well, I guess we should have expected this," I said after a bit. "We can 'talk' to them because of what we inherited from our Mothers, so why shouldn't they be able to 'talk' to them?"

"I guess you are right," Kell said before adding, "But does this mean that we'll have no secrets from our Mothers? That they will know everything that we do?" he finished in a panic.

"No, my Kell!" Almha said with a smile. "We can turn them off, so they won't know what we are doing!" she added with a giggle. Kell looked very relieved at this bit of news.

"Let's go to dinner," I suggested after that, and we all walked back to my Parents' house, as that was apparently where the meal was being held.

Dinner was great. We ate in the dining room. Our Moms had prepared a real feast, and there were many of our favorite dishes in addition to many of the vegetables and other items that our Moms enjoyed. I saw our girlfriends hesitate to eat some of the things, but Mother Clare spoke to them about the foods that were new to them.

"It's all right to eat everything here. When we first came here many years ago, we, too, were startled by some of the foods that we weren't familiar with, but we saw everyone else eating them with no ill effects, so we tried some of the strange items, and found that we liked some of them a lot. They are still some of our favorites, and these vegetables have all been grown in our home gardens," she told them.

Our girlfriends were more inclined to try things that they weren't familiar with after that, especially my twins, who were taking the word of another Mage. Kell's twins were accepting the words of someone who they could speak to mentally. It's hard to hide the truth in a mental communication, because it's so basic and direct.

It wasn't until after we had all returned to the large parlor following dinner, that our Fathers brought up the subject of our girlfriends' Magic education, and their being tested.

"Just how far along are these ladies in their Magic education?" my Dad asked.

"Sunshine and Rose started working as Mages before they were six, and both have been instructed by the 'Book of Dreams' since we met," I told him.

"So less than six weeks of actual instruction?" Uncle Pat asked.

"Plus a lot of years of actual work in the fields. They were the ones responsible for keeping the crops growing, and the fields producing at Glenquin Castle," I reminded him.

"All by themselves?" Mother Cathleen asked in shock.

"Where were their Mother and Father? They should have been instructing them and doing most of the work when they were young," Mother Clare put in, rather upset.

"It's a long story," I told them patiently.

"What about your ladies, Kell?" Dad asked next. Kell looked a little perplexed.

"They really only started learning Magic after I met them, and cured their physical impairments. They have been instructed by the 'Book of Dreams' for a little over a month," Kell told them, but added, "they are very powerful, and the 'Book' has taught them some very advanced spells."

"How advanced?" Uncle Pat demanded, in a stern voice.

"The transfer spells, their own wards, the use of power beams, cleaning spells, and other things," Kell told him.

"Power beams?" both of our Dads asked in shock.

"We thought you couldn't use the power beams. You two never received the rings for that," Dad added.

"We don't need rings to use the power beams, Dad," I told my very surprised Father.

"Neither do the Mac Sweeney Sisters," Kell added.

"I see," Dad said thoughtfully. "And they have applied these spells in real life?"

"We ran into quite a few situations where they needed to use their Magic," Kell told them, dancing around the facts.

"Used how?" Uncle Pat demanded of his Son.

"They used it to protect their lives," Kell answered, but I could see that he didn't want to go into things tonight.

"We accidentally killed a robber on our journey to Donegal, and killed two Wizards who had frozen Kellen near Ballyshannon," Airmid told Uncle Pat, and she didn't flinch in the telling, but didn't seem proud of the facts either.

"We also defeated a Master Wizard in a challenge in Drumboe, and eliminated two Wizards at Carrowkeel the other night," Almha told them. Our Parents just sat there in stunned silence on hearing this.

"Believe me, Dad, you don't want to challenge them. You will lose," Kell told his Father, in a very quiet voice.

"Ah yes ... that's quite a resume for someone who has only been studying Magic for a month or so," my Dad said on recovering.

"Resume?" Airmid asked, confused by the new word.

"A list of accomplishments," Kell told her quietly, patting her hand, before turning back to our Fathers. "Can we wait with this until after the dinner tomorrow night? Things will be a lot clearer when put in context, but we will need to start early because there is a lot to cover with both of us explaining where we went, and what we did."

"So you were involved in a lot of things then -- both of you?" Mother Petra asked.

"Yes, we were, Mother, from starting in Dublin to all up and down the west coast of Ireland. We were both involved in a lot of things, but some separately and some together. I went to Limerick, and Kell went to Donegal. We met in Sligo after a month. It was all very complicated," I told her.

"We thought that you were traveling together, like your Fathers did," Mother Shannon injected.

"No. That was what we intended to do, but the Eternal Flame decided otherwise," Kell told her.

"How long do you think it will take then?" Dad asked.

"Probably two to three hours each, depending on how many questions are asked," I told him to raised eyebrows.

"It will require that extensive an explanation?" both Dad and Uncle Pat asked.

"Yes, it will require a lot of time for the telling and more for the explaining," Kell told them.

"We should all get a good night's sleep then," Mother Sheena told us, and the meeting broke up after that.

Kell and I quickly returned to the houses that we were using with our girlfriends. Kell stopped me, before we entered the houses.

"Are we going to tell them everything?" he asked. We had left out certain things when we visited O'Dea Castle.

"Everything that isn't embarrassing. I don't think that they are going to want to know about our sex lives. They are pretty sure that we are having sex already," I told him.

"Okay, but it may take more than three hours each then, especially if they ask a lot of questions, or question our decisions," he told me.

"They weren't there and didn't have to deal with the situations that we did. If they don't like our decisions, that will be too bad. We managed to live through all of it while others didn't. We have nothing to be ashamed of," I told him. Our girlfriends dragged us inside our separate houses after that. They had more on their minds than talking.

"We want to see what those showers are like," Sunshine told me, on reaching the second floor.

"You didn't take a shower earlier?" I asked them.

"No, we had a bubble bath in a big tub, big enough for both of us to get in it at the same time!" Rose told me excitedly.

"It was fantastic!" Sunshine added enthusiastically, as both twins stripped off their clothes. I quickly joined them. I didn't need a third shower today, but I wasn't going to miss a chance to soap both of them up in the shower. It isn't a treat that one should ever miss.

In the bathroom, I got the water started and adjusted it to the right temperature before we all got into the shower, which was more than large enough for the three of us. The soap was already there, and I took the bar and started on Sunshine. I rubbed the soap ALL over her after she got wet. I then spent time rubbing the soap into her skin with my hands. After a time I needed to switch to Rose, but enjoyed rubbing the soap into her skin just as much as I had Sunshine's.

By the time I finished, we were all aroused and quickly dried off, using the large fluffy towels hanging there. The twins really liked the towels, but quickly dragged me out to the bed. They were ready for sex, and didn't want to wait. They pushed me down on the bed, and then got on top of me. I had one on my cock, and the other one on my face. We all came quickly before taking a nap.

Sunshine woke me later and pulled me over on top of herself. She was still in need, and it was fast and furious until we both came again. She cuddled up to me after that, and we went back to sleep again. Rose woke me well before dawn for her turn. She was still frantic also, but it took longer this time. Rose didn't mind, as she had two great orgasms. I was sandwiched between them to finish the night. It was certainly a good thing that I had cast the privacy spell, and the noise suppression spell before we went into the shower, because there had been no time for casting them after the shower.

We were a little late getting up in the morning, but Kell and his twins were just as late. We met them coming out of the house, on our way to breakfast. Neither of us said anything, but all of our girlfriends giggled on the way.

Our Moms had breakfast ready, and our Dads were waiting for us when we finished. Kell and I plus my twins went with our Dads to work on the fields. The Mac Sweeney Sisters stayed at our houses to help some of our Moms. Mothers Clare and Cathleen joined us at the tractor shed, before we left to work on the fields. They went with our Dads to help with the fields they were working on.
