Chapter 116

The arrival of the newcomers didn't slow down Erin's torture any. Every time anyone passed nearby, they touched her in some manner. Even Rachelle and Mary got into the act, which surprised Adam slightly but not completely.

The two new girls seemed oblivious to the display. They started to sit down with Timm and the guys but Allie immediately brought them to the girls' side. It simply wouldn't do to have females stuck listening to the guys talk about sports and cars and guns and stuff, she told them.

Of course, the girls were talking about clothes and shoes and makeup, Adam decided. Both were wrong. The conversation on either side was mostly about sex. The women were discussing Judy Jackem's new web site, "Fantasy Time," and coaxing the newcomers into sharing a little more about themselves. The ones who had been around each other for a few months had no trouble sharing intimacies with excruciating detail.

Some of the girls also wanted to hear details of how the shoot went with Timm on Thursday. Judy scheduled the shoot for 11 a.m. so no one could be there but Jason. He said the shoot went like everyone had expected but he didn't provide many details. Adam suspected it was true because Melody had left a voice mail thanking him for sending Timm her way. She called him a "most polite guy and well-schooled in the 'Derrick Driller' ways." Adam took that as a compliment.

The guys were talking about how hot the girls looked in their bikinis and then describing the Wally Walrus suits to the new guys. The girls had put on one final show before leaving the complex but it was during Jason and Cameron's finals week so they had missed it. Adam thought that was a shame because he thought Tyanna could definitely do a Wally Walrus suit justice with her tight, trim little body and her big tits.

Allie said she had one picked out just for Tyanna, a dark brown bikini that would offset her light brown skin tones but there hadn't been an occasion to show them ioff. When the girls sunbathed on the deck, it was always topless and usually bottomless, too. There wasn't a tan line on any of the females, that was certain.

Cameron seemed to be in line with Adam's thoughts.

"When are you going to do a scene with Kenzie?" he wondered.

Adam shrugged.

"I thought we might wait until the feature," he said. "I'm not sure. I'm already doing a lot more scenes than I wanted to do. I hoped to do five a month and I'm doing twice that amount."

"I'm not complaining," Cameron said with a smile. "Daystar and Dazzle use me and Jason once a week. Goldwall has set us up three times a month. Plus we're starting to get notice from other sites. Have you heard of 'Oral Exams'?"

Adam shook his head.

"I got a call from them Wednesday," Cameron said. "Kristi said it's a decent site. It's one of those that can go however I make it. The owner is one of those who doesn't push for things a certain way. Plus, the woman from 'Bountiful Assets' called to see if Five Friends handles any other male talent besides you. The girls there are loving life since you showed up. They wanted to know if there are any more like you on the farm. Kristi told them about me, Jason and Timm and the woman was happy as hell. Of course, I also started to get calls from 'Black Attack' and 'Rolled and Poled.'"

Adam rolled his eyes.

"Yeah," Cameron laughed. "I basically told Kristi the same thing you did. If she wouldn't work for them, I wasn't interested. She knows this business a hell of a lot better than I do."

"Me, too," Adam admitted. "Hey, I thought she was coming out here today."

"After noon, she said," Jason cut in. "She's got something going on this morning. I'm actually looking forward to meeting her. She seems really sweet on the phone."

"I've only talked to her a couple of times in person," Adam admitted. "Sarah does most of that stuff. How are classes this summer?"

"Boring," Jason and Cameron answered in unison, and then laughed. Timm wasn't taking classes. He had finished up an associate's degree in electronics in mid-May – part of the deal he had with his parents and uncle to delay the business until he found something to fall back on.

"Timm, do you know what Walt is working on?" Adam asked.

"Hey, yeah!" Walt said from behind him. "I completely forgot we have someone around who knows what the hell he's talking about. I get so used to dealing with these fuck-wits that I think everyone is as clueless as they are."

Walt sat down beside Timm and explained what he was doing. Timm's gaze went to the ocean and Adam thought he'd tuned Walt out.

"I can see that," he said. "If you do it right, you can use solar power for most of the batteries. That should make the Greens happy."

"I know nothing about that," Walt admitted. "I can do the mechanization. I can make it run on diesel fuel, gasoline or electricity. What I have no clue about is which is best. I want to use electricity, but if we could go solar, man, that would be fantastic."

"I'll think about it and let you know," Timm promised. "Can I come out sometime to see what you're working on?"

"Depends if you can stand the sight of these women topless," Walt said with a slight smirk. "Because I can almost guarantee you'll see them that way if you show up. They'll make it a point to find a reason."

"Even Tyanna?" Timm asked. "She is such a sweetheart. I mean, you know, some of these women, I can't see them doing porn. Leslie, sure, I can see that. Even Allie is so overtly sexual I can see that. Sarah is a walking hard-on maker and so is Meredith. But the others? I know they do but well, like Shelly. She is just so freakin' sweet. The same with Tyanna and Karlie."

"I understand completely," Walt said. "The thing is, Timm, and it will get easier if you look at things this way, Tyanna isn't in the adult industry. Kenzie Cole is. Shelly doesn't do porn. Michelle Foxx does. Sure, Leslie is an instigator. She loves attention. She gets that attention by being Cassie Charms. Rebecca is the same way with Rita Looker. But to meet the person behind the character, you would never think any of them was anything more than a great friend. Because that is what they are. You have to learn to separate the women you hang out with on a daily basis from the ones you have sex with on-screen."

Walt paused for a moment to let the thought sink in.

"Unless you're Adam," Jason said with a grin. "To him, it's one and the same."

The girls' conversation was going in a similar direction.

"Judy was telling me that I might be able to get your help in picking jobs," Beth said.

"You can run them past us or we can help you get them," Sarah said.

"No, I don't want an agent," Beth answered. "I know a couple of girls who tried this bit. They wound up spending more on their agents than they did on anything else."

Sarah nodded.

"Five Friends Casting doesn't work that way," Katey told them. "Look, I'm at Majestic right now. I have 19 days left on my contract and I told them I don't plan to sign another with them. I'm going to move to Five Friends because, well, they charge a hell of a lot less. Plus, they hired a former actress to handle a lot of it. She knows what's what and who's who. She doesn't even piddle around with 'Face Down, Ass Up' or 'There's a Negro in My Daughter'."

Elena glanced at Tyanna as if she expected her to pull a knife at any moment.

"I don't do those sites either," Tyanna said. "Cameron won't work with those guys. My first week, I got a call from Cannon Group. They handle the 'ethnic' look. No offense, Beth, but you're going to get a call from them too and you're going to get calls from 'Latina Tortilla' and 'Lick Her Taco' and those fucked-up things."

"But I'm not Hispanic," Beth protested. "I mean, I sort of am. I have a grandfather who is from Spain."

"Doesn't matter, because you look like you might be," Katey said. "You get typecast and places like Cannon never let you break out. Tyanna, what roles have you gotten?"

"'Cotton Panty Chronicles', 'Naughty Newbies', 'Doable Dolls' and 'Sporty Spinners'," Tyanna said. "I've been offered others – like 'Black on the Outside, Pink on the Inside' but I've passed."

"How did you get those roles?" Katey asked with a nod.

Tyanna shrugged slightly before speaking.

"Because those are the people Five Friends deals with," she explained. "I'm not a black porn actress. I'm a porn actress. Anything that Sarah or Allie or Shelly or Leslie can get, they push for me to get. There are some huge names attached to Five Friends. You can see that. This whole group except for Katey is with Five Friends. I mean, it's not a requirement or anything. Sure, Katey will have to be beat on when she comes over but it's harmless. Leslie is the only one who wears brass knuckles."

"She's kidding," Allie said, shaking her head. "Shelly uses soap in a rolled up sock. I don't want to push you one way or another. Five Friends isn't the right fit for everyone and we know it. There are some girls we wouldn't touch if they offered us 30 percent. And there are some who wouldn't consider us if we paid them."

"How much do you charge?" Elena asked.

"Depends," Allie said simply. "If you are someone who works only a little and who needs the money, we do it for 1 or 2 percent. If you're someone like Leslie or Sarah who can get any job she wants, we charge a little more because they can afford a little more. It's a little backward, I know. We're really learning on the fly but I can tell you, there were only three days last month when no one from Five Friends was working. In another couple of weeks, we'll have two more people dealing with the producers and owners. Right now, we only have one – and here she comes. Have either of you heard of Kristi Clear?"

Elena shook her head but Beth nodded.

"She is our agent-in-training," Allie said. "In 30 days, she'll be one of four licensed agents associated with Five Friends Casting. That is one agent for every five people."

"That's a lot better than most agencies," Katey said. "With places like Rival or Elite, you're one in 20 or 25."

Veronica Davies, aka Kristi Clear, had barely pulled her shorts off and sat down before the questions started.

She smiled indulgently.

"I'm doing great," she answered the non-existent question. "Thanks for not asking. How are you? Glad to hear it."

The girls dissolved in laughter. Veronica was only 23 but she had been in the porn business for almost five years. She got out before she got jaded but not before she wound doing a lot of sites – and a lot of things – she regretted.

"Sorry, Veronica," Sarah said. "How are you doing?"

"Good," Veronica said with a shake of her head. "I had to park three miles away but the walk will get some of the cottage cheese off my ass. Now, what were all those questions again?"

"We were explaining the Five Friends concept to Beth and Elena," Katey said. It took Veronica a second to recognize the girl who spoke.

"Are you one of those I'm working for?" she asked in confusion.

Katey smiled.

"Not yet but soon," she answered. "I work under the name of Betsy Hamilton. I'm with Majestic for a couple of more weeks."

"Oh, I know who you are," Veronica said. "I just, well, I wondered if I had somehow screwed up and forgotten somebody."
