I got a call from my Great Grandfather, Alfred, asking if I could come up on Friday afternoon this month in lieu of Saturday and stay the night. I really agreed as I did enjoy visiting him at least monthly.

Arriving at 6.30, Dinner was set for 7pm with the neighbour, his best friend Joe. They have been friends for over 70 years, meeting in school and always doing things together. As we sat down, Joe had brought along his great granddaughter Edith.

Alfred said “Edith, this is my favourite grandson Tim, He is 25, a banker in loans, single and not interested in boys, As you can see he looks after himself with gym work and looking for a partner to spend his life with, not that he will find any in his job.”

Joe replied “Edith here visits me every month to check on me, She is 24, Librarian, spend too much time in books and should enjoy life. She has a shapely body but does not wear clothes to show.

I looked at Joe, Edith then Great Grandfather, I said “Hello Edith, What are you two old goats up to? Are you trying to get us married or something?”

Edith stated “Great Grandfather, what are you trying to do?”

Both men looked at each other, deliberately smiled and said together “We want some Great, Great Grandchildren before we pass on and you two seem the likely couple.”

Great Grandfather said “We love you both and really in the family, most are too young or don’t have any commitment. Like your parents Tim, they have never visited me in the last 5 years.”

Joe stated “Same with you Edith you are my only visitor. How can we entice you two to keep us old goats happy to pass on?”

I looked at Edith, I must admit this was my first time meeting her, “Edith how can I say, I knew nothing of these two planning anything, what are your thoughts?”

Edith looked at me and her angry eyes changes to inquisitive ones “Same here Tim, I usually come on Sundays and I had no idea about this.”

I asked “How about dinner sometime to talk alone?”

Edith smiled, a really pretty smile, “I liked it. Yes sure.”

We looked at the Great Grandfathers “OK, we will talk about it.” They smiled, a funny smile as if they had other plans. And did not say a word.

We got talking about other things but they kept looking at us with that strange smile. I went outside to my car and brought in my overnight bag. I was sent up to the third floor changing room. I did not realise it was a self closing lock. The notice read, undress and to enter further you must be naked. I took off all of my clothes except my undies. The door handle would not open. I tried banging nothing, then reading the sign again, I removed my undies, so I was totally naked. The door opened, I heard another door open and saw Edith enter totally naked. I looked at her, her face then body. I reacted. Before we realised our door closed and their were no handles on this side.
