It sounded pretty stupid. but it also sounded easy. and he needed the work, so he agreed to do it. He had no idea it would change his rough and tumble life forever.

Foreword
This is another story written for my editor as (completely insufficient) payment for her services. While this is not a promise, this story may be the beginning of a series, assuming the tiny, itsy bitsy piece of my brain that handles creativity can dream up any more episodes. And assuming my muse cooperates, of course. I'm saying this now, just in case, so that should there be another Holmes Files episode, or three or four, it will look like I planned the whole series thing and you'll be fooled into thinking I'm brilliant.
