I started this as a short Nemesis story some time back, but it took on a life of its own.
My thanks go to a reader and friend from down in the antipodes somewhere, for the basic plot device I used in the early stages of the tale. It's been well been over a year now since he pitched it to me and it took me some time to come up with a - not too obvious - way to build it into a story.
