Chapter 6

I wake to a mass of black hair in my face and the smell of sour apples and sweat - which might have been nice if I wasn't expecting strawberries or at least whatever the hell Alex uses.

I pull away from Kai and use the john. I check the time; it's 5:30am. I really want to go swim. If this were Beth, I'd just go. But Kai doesn't know me.

I reach past Da and wake Alex. "I'm swimming. Kai asks, I'm coming back."

"Yeh, suh." He slurs still half sleep. I will never understand how he ever gets to his shift on the dock on time. I go back to the clothing optional pool and strip bare. Swimming naked laps for an hour was a treat I could get used to. I get to see the sunrise as I swim. It's glorious. On my way back to the girl's room, the staff were setting up the breakfast buffet so I grab a pitcher of OJ and a tray of breakfast things and slip back into the room.

It doesn't look like any of them have moved yet. I shower and get back into bed with Kai.

Da was actually the first one to wake. She pads into the bathroom and sees the tray when she comes out. "Thank you. That's very sweet."

"I try to be."

She looked back at the beds and the one body sleeping in each. Then she looked at me. "I guess the early birds got the wrong worms."

I look at her, not quite sure I got her message. "You want to go back to bed?"

"But I'm not particularly sleepily."

Two strange women in 24 hours. "I can fix this." I shake Alex. When his eyes open mostly, I tell him, "Move." He sits up, yawns, and staggers into the bathroom. I gesture Da back into the bed and climb in with her.

A few minutes later, Da was sucking my nipples and I see Alex stagger out of the bath. He glances at me, takes a few seconds to register, and climbs into bed with Kai. I go back to enjoying Da's talented fingers sliding around my dick. I slid two of mine against her clit. She shivers and stops everything to reach for the nightstand and find a condom. She puts it on me then slides herself on top of me. I let her bounce around up there. Her breasts were larger that Kai's and they bounce a lot. I hear a creak and a groan. Alex and Kai were spooned together, slowly screwing. I wrap my arms around Da and face her toward them. Soon, she reaches for another condom and our sex mirrors theirs. We all finish at about the same time.

I am very glad I brought breakfast down. By the time we finish, there would have been nothing left. We're snuggling and discussing how the four of us will spend the day in Shanghai when my cell rings. I nearly knock over a lamp reaching for it. "Hey, Baby!" I can't believe how relieved I am to see her number, "How you feelin'?"

"Like a total piece of shit. I can't believe I threw you out like that. Where are you guys?"

"We're fine. We found..." I look around me, " ... space."

"You got lucky, you dick, didn't you?" She laughs, "Oh my god, I throw you out for one day and you two find some slut ta shack up with."

"You'll like them."

"I'd better." she counters, "and I'm finding one of my own next week. If you can play, I can play."

I glance at Alex. He's alternating between kissing Da and kissing Kai, waiting for me to get off the phone. It's not fair of me to deny her this if we're doing it. "Ok, Baby, You win. Hey, listen, we're heading into the city as soon as Alex and I change clothes if we can come back now..."

"Of course!"

" ... good. Anyhow, you come with?"

"Are they prettier than me?"

"Of course not!" I am not that stupid. "We'll be back in like ten minutes." I hang up. "Ok, Alex, roll. Ladies," I kiss them both, "thirty minutes. On the Lido. We'll be the love struck idiots staring helplessly at you."

Kai rolls her eyes and Da laughs, "With the other woman with you."

"Don't knock three chicks 'til you try three chicks." Alex purrs.

Kai hits him. We head back to our room. Beth was dressed but not even remotely as close to 'chipper' as she sounded on the phone.

"Baby, stay here." I tell her with a kiss. "It's ok."

"When am I gonna be in Shanghai again?" she whines. "I'm goin'. I got drugs. I'll be fine. Besides, I gotta write something about it anyway."

The five of us take the late tour - the early one left while we were sleeping. We wander around the biggest city in China. I admit it; travel was not a McElroy strong point. Apart from me and Granddad, I don't think anyone in my family has left the Atlantic coast, let along the US. We find one of many electronic stores and buy two memory cards for our cameras - even with daily downloads; we'll never be able to keep all the pictures we're taking. I am reminded again of how small Reedville was and how big the rest of the world is. Kai and Da spend large parts of the day laughing at us.

"I thought you were Americans." Da laughs as Alex, Beth and I all crane our heads back to look at yet another skyscraper.

"We ain't city folk." Alex says, "Ain't uh building in Reedville more-n four stories."

"Alex!" Beth protests mildly, "It's not that small. There are uh couple ten-story office buildings. An' we only two hours from Richmond which is the state capital an' they got buildings like this one there." However, she admits. "But we don't spend much time there."

I slide an arm around each of our new friends, "See, we live on the river bank. All the glories uh the United States uh hunnerd mile up the Chesapeake, we don't never have call to go there."

"I been ta Washington on uh class trip once," Alex offered, "An' Peter's Granddad used ta live there. But it ain't got skyscrapers like this. Look like uh city fulla museums. Hey, whoa! Lookathere!"

Alex heads down yet another back alley, dragging Beth and the rest of us follow. We pass the day wandering around the streets of downtown Shanghai and generally looking like tourist. We spend way too much on souvenirs and clothes. But we do find a 'toy store'. I let Alex lead Da and Kai somewhere else while Beth and I glance around in search of something that might do the trick for her. I flip through some of the porn on the rack. I put it down when the tentacle'd monster begins molesting the room full of twelve year olds. Way outta my league. Beth's holding a dildo that looked like a base bat when I slip my arms around her.

"That the one?"

"No!" She looked appalled, "It wouldn't even fit! I was looking at this." She holds up and small, simple tube about six inches long.

"Hell, Beth, I'm bigger-n that." I kiss the back of her neck. "If that would do it, me an' Alex'd long since done it."

"Well, I don't want something too big."

"What's too big?"

"Painful."

"Ah."

"I did see this. Whatdiya think?"

She hands me a silver cigar shaped object. It's smooth and completely unremarkable except for a barely perceivable joint in the center. I jump nearly a foot when it starts vibrating. "What the hell?"

"It has a remote that works up to 50 feet and under water."

My dick twitches picturing her and or Alex groaning as I turn up the speed. "Batteries?"
