Tay stared at the books that she was putting on the shelves, it just wasn't fair, after eight years she was going to see him yet again and she still could not tell her heart to stop bouncing around in her chest. The night that they had spent together had been beautiful. He made sure she was comfortable and did not cause her any more pain than was necessary. Jess had gone off to finish restocking the clothing items that were on the sale rack. If they were going to have "Suave" here then there was definitely going to be a lot of females here to purchase items.
The store is called "Tay's" and was on the first floor of the building, it was huge by most standards but Tay could never find enough room for all the items she had to sell. When you walked in the doors from the street, you walked toward the cash register, this one was usually manned by Jess or some other employee, the one on the opposite side of the store, there was two, one was always opened was manned by Tay herself when she was not wandering around helping customers. The doors on this side of the store lead to a beautiful common area that Tay had landscaped with picnic benches and flowers.
Once past the register from off the street you hit men's and woman's clothing to the right and on the left was the books and magazines. After the clothing you had the dressing area to try on clothes and then jewelry and other knickknacks, on the left side after the book was a restaurant called Dani Jo's, named after Taylor's sister. There was plenty of seating area, and it was all blocked off by a half wall surrounding it. There were bathrooms near the common area registers for Tay's customers and there were bathrooms right in the restaurant. All in all it was a prosperous business but Tay could still not figure out why Dee was coming here and not going to the 3 story mall about 2 miles away. It just didn't make any sense to her.
Tay heard noise by the street and glanced over to see that Jess was putting up the signs that Dee's manager had sent over for them. There were about 10 girls outside the window, talking loudly about how hot he was. Boy, they just didn't know how hot he really was until they met him in person.
They still had a lot to do, the manager had said that Suave was to put on a 10 minute performance while he was there, Tay didn't know where the hell to put the so called stage that he was going to stand on but she guess she still had at least a day to figure that out. She thought maybe, they should set it up near the 2 registers in back, so that there was plenty of space for everyone who was probably going to come but that would require moving glass cases, so maybe it would be better in the clothing area and they could just roll the racks into the dressing rooms and then roll them out again once it was over. There were just too many things to worry about, she thought, and she needed to get her nerves under control before Friday.
