I felt the soft little kisses on my neck as 'she' put her hand on the side of my face, keeping me looking forward.

"Isn't your sister so pretty and sexy?" The voice asked. I recognized the voice this time, about the same time as a few strands of the disobedient red hair fell in front of my face.

"Pretend like I'm her," Megan said as she pulled me down to sit on the floor. That's when I noticed that she was wearing just a t-shirt, and no panties. She sat on my lap, and then slipped me up inside of her. She talked to me softly as she slowly moved up and down on me. It didn't take me long to be right on the edge.

"Do you wish that was me and you in there?" She whispered. "Would you like to make love to your sexy sister while you watched another man with me?" She asked, her voice barely audible in my ear. She gasped as she felt me get harder inside her. "You like that idea, huh?"

"I don't know..." I whispered truthfully. She smiled softly, understandingly at me. I saw the mixed emotions in her eyes too.

Megan and I both came twice as we sat there on the floor, making love while we watched Victoria make love to her two men. I wondered if I really could watch Megan with another man. Part of me knew I probably couldn't handle watching her with another man inside her, watching her sucking off another man, watching another man eating her out, maybe even watching her come as another man had sex with her. The problem was, part of me also knew it would be just about the hottest thing I would ever see. All of me knew that Megan would never leave me for another, man or woman. She might enjoy being with another, but she would only do so if she knew it was something I wanted to see, something I would enjoy. She would do anything for me. I loved her so much.

I wasn't sure exactly when Victoria became aware that we were watching her, participating in a way in her activities. She didn't let on to David or John, but I saw her smile as she acknowledged our presence. Maybe for now, this was the answer to all our needs. Megan was involved, yet she wasn't really. I got the impression that participating in some way was more important to Megan than she had originally thought it was.

Later that day, Megan and I went to the cave where the dig site was. She wanted to show me what she had been doing during the time she was there. She showed me the excavation site where they had uncovered some of the artifacts that pertained to our past. There were other plates like the ones we had recovered before. She had more translations to work on. Megan expressed some ideas she had about what she had recovered so far.

"I feel like there is more than what I have seen here so far. I mean, there is no reason for what we have seen so far to even be here. It's like it has just been dropped into the middle of nowhere. I feel that we are missing something important here. You understand why I have to stay, don't you?" She asked. I didn't answer, as I wasn't really listening to her.

Something was trying to get my attention. I could feel it in my mind. There was something here that I, we, were supposed to find. I knew instinctively that this was not the main site of these archeological attractions, but there was something important here. It was calling me. I saw Megan looking at me strangely, as if she was wondering what I was doing, but I wasn't really paying attention to her.

There was a flash of gray light, so quick that I was not sure I had even seen it. I saw Megan react, and I knew I had not imagined it. I looked at the far wall, where the light had seemed to come from, and I realized that something had changed. I saw white light leaking from around a crack in the wall that I had not seen before.

"Do you see that, Megan?" I asked, pointing to the wall.

"Yeah! I never saw that purple light leaking through the wall there before," she said excitedly. I looked at her strangely.

"You mean the white light?" I asked patiently. She looked confused.

"I see purple light, not white light," she stated emphatically. We looked at each other, confusion plain on our faces, and then we slowly walked towards the light. As we neared the wall, I saw that the light seemed to be coming from the crack around a small door, almost like a panel, imbedded in the wall. I noticed that Megan had approached another section of the wall, a couple feet away from where I was. I couldn't understand why she was over there, when there was nothing of interest there. Before I could ask her what she was doing, she asked me the same question.

"Why are you standing over there? The purple light is over here," she told me patiently, as if I was being weird. That's when I realized that we were seeing completely different things. I could see nothing where she was standing and she apparently couldn't see the light from around the panel door in front of me. She quickly realized what was going on also. Before we could say anything, I saw a lighted handprint show up on the wall in front of me. I could tell that Megan probably saw the same thing, in a different color, on her side. My panel glowed white. I assumed hers glowed purple.

I placed my right hand over the glowing hand print. I heard a barely audible click, followed by a briefly visible flash of light, and a panel opened in front of me. Inside was a small cubicle, with another glowing handprint on the back wall. I saw Megan watching me. She had not done anything with her side yet. I considered walking over to her side to see if I could open her panel, or if they were specific for a particular person. Then I realized how stupid that thought was; I couldn't see the colors or handprint on her side.

I described to Megan what I saw on my side and what happened when I put my hand up to the handprint. She then duplicated my actions on her side. I heard the barely audible click again, but nothing seemed to happen. I realized that it was just invisible to me, as Megan described what happened when she touched the panel. It was exactly what had happened on my side.

I touched my hand to the white, glowing handprint in front of me inside the cubicle. Nothing happened. Megan tried the second handprint on her side, but nothing happened again. I noticed a difference with the handprints after we touched them, however. I could now see the purple handprint inside Megan's cubicle. She said she could see my white handprint inside the cubicle on my side also.

We both had the same idea at the same time. Without even thinking about it, we both reached up and touched the handprint inside our respective cubicles at the same time. The room glowed a soft white and purple color; then there was a flash of white light, followed almost immediately by a flash of purple light. We heard a brief soft hissing noise, almost like the sound of escaping air, and the entire back wall of the cave slid open, to reveal a small open room. We walked in and looked around in astonishment.

Basically, the room looked like a small command center. On one wall was a large back lighted map of the world. Next to it was a large lighted map of the United States. There was no indication of what was providing the power for the maps, or even what was providing the power for the lights that lit up the room. It seemed to be simply diffuse light coming from the ceiling.

The map of the world seemed to be unremarkable. The one of the United States was more remarkable. Scattered over the surface of the U.S. map were several areas that seemed to be potential large points of light. There was one lighted large point of light in Arizona; it appeared to be the location we were in currently. There was another one lit up in an uninhabited area of Utah. Those were the only two that were lit up. Upon closer examination, I saw that there were similar potential, but unlit, points across the world map also.

There were several smaller lights scattered around, different from the larger points, but sometimes contained within the larger points of light. There was one in our home town. The smaller point of light there was not contained within a larger point of light, as the one in Arizona was. There was one in Arizona, and a location for a light on the east coast. It looked to be in the Washington, DC area. That light was not lit. It also was not associated with a larger point of light.

Megan and I closely examined the maps, again coming to the same conclusion at the same time.

"I think the large points of light may be the location of centers like this," I observed. Megan nodded in agreement.

"I think you're right. The smaller points of light may be individuals, or families living in that area," Megan noted. "It's interesting that the one near Washington DC is not lit," she said, stating the obvious. I could tell by the look on her face she was thinking the same thing I was. I hated to admit that the idea of maybe having to activate the powers of two very special girls living in that area excited me. Megan noticed and smiled happily at me, then looked a little farther down on my body and grinned. I blushed. Would she ever get tired of setting me up with other girls? I doubted it; at least not with the special girls waiting for their powers to be activated. Of course, it was something that had to be done, but there was no question that she really enjoyed arranging it for me too!

We both looked at each other in confusion as the significance of what we were seeing here dawned on us at the same time. I don't think Megan and I had ever been as in tune with each other as much as we were right then. It was almost as if we were using one brain together. That's when I first confirmed the existence of an area of her mind that she had denied me access to. I immediately walled off any thoughts about that area, or my discovery of it in her, to keep her from realizing what I knew. That was easy... hell, I wish I understood everything I knew about it! Or even knew everything I knew about it! She spoke first.

"I don't understand. We are supposed to be the remnants of an ancient, long dead civilization, probably not even from this world. I know you and I are not keeping these areas functioning, nor are we keeping these lights lit on the maps. Yet we are supposedly the most powerful beings left of that race, except maybe Bandor, and this area does not have his aura about it." She stopped speaking, looking confused again.

"So, who is doing it?" I asked quietly, almost afraid to hear the answer. It was at that moment that my cell phone rang. Interesting, since the display said there was no cell service in the cave.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello, Son. I see you have found the center in the cave in Arizona. I think it would be a good idea if you and Megan came back home right away. We have some things to discuss," Dad said calmly. I wasn't quite as calm.

"How do you know where we are, and what do you know about this cave? How can you be talking to me on a cell phone that has no service here?" I asked, perhaps a little sharply. Dad took it in stride.

"I know and can do a lot of things that would surprise you, Son," he answered calmly. "Maybe it shouldn't, since you can do the same things, but I guess you just weren't expecting them from me. Concealing those abilities was intentional on my part. I think this is a conversation we need to have in person, however. You can leave the girls and Victoria with James and his family in Arizona if you want. They would probably like to visit with their new friends some more, and I'm sure Victoria would like to visit with David some more." I thought I detected a brief laugh.

"I'll see how soon we can get a flight out," I said. Dad gave a sigh of frustration.

"Stop acting like you're a normal human, Son, or that I don't know what you can do. Teleport back here, or have Sarah teleport you if you don't want the others to know that you can do that yet. Hell, Megan could do it too, but she doesn't know that yet, unless you told her, which I doubt; it's better she doesn't know about her new powers just yet. Either way, it'll be easier than flying," Dad said. I'm sure, by the way Megan looked at me, that I had a strange look on my face. I didn't have the cell phone on speaker, so she couldn't hear his part of the conversation. At least, that was the theory. I had long ago stopped guessing at what Megan couldn't do. I got tired of being wrong.

"I'm not sure I want to leave the girls here alone," I protested.

"They'll be ok, Son. Don't worry about them. No one is going to hurt them right now." I shivered as I realized what he had said. 'No one was going to hurt them, right now'. If he was trying to make me worry less, he was failing miserably.

"How can you know that? Who are you?" I asked quietly, a slight tremor in my voice. Dad picked up right away that I was concerned and he did his best to calm me down.

"Just come back home, Son, you and Megan, as fast as you can. Believe me, you don't want to have this conversation over the phone. Come home, Son, and don't bring any of the others except Megan with you," he clarified, and hung up.

Megan looked at me questioningly as I hung up.

"What's up?" She asked. I looked at her in disbelief. As if she didn't know. She sighed dramatically.

"Patrick... I don't eavesdrop on your phone conversations. It would be rude to do that to the White Energy, not to mention to my fiancé, whom I love dearly and respect infinitely." She smiled slyly. And shyly. Why did I not believe her? What she said was probably true most of the time. There were few promises or rules like that that our kind didn't have to break at some time or another. We were careful to make sure it was for a good reason, though, and Megan was a real stickler about that proviso. I didn't think this qualified as a good reason, since there was no reason why I wouldn't tell her what Dad said, so maybe she didn't know already. Unless, of course, she had already seen the future, which was always a distinct possibility with her. My head hurt.

"Dad wants to talk to us right away; only you and me. He suggested we have Sarah teleport us back to him. There is apparently something important he needs to talk to us about right away," I told her. She lifted her eyebrow dramatically as I stopped talking; she knew there was more.

"Megan, he knew where we were and what we were doing. He knows what we can do. I don't know who he is, but I'm beginning to doubt he is my Father," I said tersely. Megan walked over and slipped into my arms to hug me.

"Give him a chance, honey. He loves you; I know that. He loves the girls and he loves me too. I don't believe he would do anything to cause harm to any of us." I gave her a leering look; she blushed and swatted my arm. "Not that way, you dirty minded jerk. Although..." She laughed at the look on my face. I knew she was just teasing me back. Wasn't she? I ruthlessly shoved the unbidden thought that appeared suddenly in my mind behind that hidden wall I had just constructed a few minutes ago. I was fast enough that I think I did it without it being detected. The sense of guilt I felt for keeping things secret from the love of my life was a little harder to deal with, however.

We looked over the whole room carefully before we left. We did find something that we had missed before, assuming, of course, that it had been there before. There was a double handprint in the wall near the maps. One print glowed purple, the other white. There was a light in the middle of each of the handprints. The color and size of the light, upon closer examination, was identical to the large point of light on the map in Utah. Our theory was that it was a teleportation device or window from this center to what was presumably a center in Utah, but both Megan and I were unwilling to try it out yet.

Once we got back to where the girls and Michelle were staying, we had to handle things carefully, as Michelle didn't know anything about our powers. I took Sarah into the other room.

"Sarah, my Dad needs to talk to Megan and me right away. Can I ask you to teleport both of us back there, and then bring us back when we're done?" I asked. Sarah gave me a funny look and rolled her eyes at me.

"Of course you can; it would be no problem. However, why don't you just teleport there yourself?" Sarah gave me a cute grin, knowing that what she had said was going to shock me. It did a little, but not as much as she thought it would. I had seen the funny look she gave me when I had appeared in the room after the fight with Bandor. Everyone else had just assumed that Sarah had teleported me back, but of course she knew she hadn't.

"Well... I would just as soon everyone didn't know about my abilities just yet," I admitted. Sarah gave me a sad little look.

"You probably don't want anyone to know Megan can do it, either, right? You don't even want Megan to know she can do it, right?" She asked. I shook my head. She gave me a long look, biting her lower lip, before she got up the courage to ask what she wanted to know. Well, what she felt she needed to know; she really didn't want to know.

"Do you have any idea who the traitor among us is yet, Daddy?" Sarah asked, her eyes moist. Now I was shocked; where had she come up with that?

"What do you mean?" I asked innocently. Sarah rolled her eyes.

"Come on, Daddy. I'm not stupid. You don't want anyone to know about your new powers. I bet you haven't even told Megan about them, or even that she has them also." The slight widening of my eyes that I couldn't stop gave me away. "You want two Protectors and Guardians with her at all times. Why? No one will ever take her by surprise like that again. I can't figure out how they did the first time; the greatest Scribe ever known taken out like a normal human. Katie and Becky aren't there to defend her; they are there to keep an eye on her, aren't they? Then, there is the fact that she 'unintentionally' accused me of teleporting Bandor out, when she knew it wasn't my color. Yet someone obviously did teleport him out. Was she testing me, or trying to shift suspicion from herself? Or from someone else that she knew did it, since gray isn't her color either... as far as we know. Sammi has three colors... who says Megan, or anyone else, only has one?" Sarah looked at me sadly. "You don't really think Megan has sold us out, do you? Do you really think she could do that to you, to her daughters? The Purple Energy and the greatest scribe ever to exist cooperating with our enemies? Yet, if it's not her, then who? Or are all the attacks, the knowing where we are and when we are most vulnerable, just 'coincidence'? FBI agents, even former agents, don't believe in coincidences, do they?" Sarah stopped talking and watched me closely. I could hardly talk, with the tears that were welling up in my eyes. I was stunned that little Sarah had come up with all this. Did that make her a suspect? I saw her eyes narrow as I thought that.

"I don't know, honey; I just don't know. It's just as possible that there is no traitor. It could be just accidental, or maybe Bandor is that good. I just cannot believe that any of my girls would ever do that," I whispered, my voice shaking. Sarah smiled sadly.
