Julie was setting the breakfast table for her mother. They were eating a little earlier than they usually did on Sunday. "It's been a busy week," she thought to herself as she distributed the silverware. She smiled as she thought about the rather tame chat she and Mel had with Kyle last night. Kyle had been out with Sherie a couple of times the past week and they had all been too busy to get together for a chat.
"Honey, go tell Kyle that breakfast is almost ready," said her mother. "Your father ought to be down in a few minutes."
"Okay Mom." Julie wondered if she would catch him the way she did last week — naked coming out of the shower. When she got to Kyle's room she didn't bother to knock, she just opened the door and went in.
"Aww... heck," she muttered aloud, pouting at Kyle as he pulled his shirt on. "I was hoping I'd catch you 'au naturel' like last time."
He grinned at her. "You should have gotten here about five minutes earlier."
Grinning she walked up to him and started buttoning his shirt for him. "That's okay. Are we still on for tonight? Mel is planning on it." She chuckled, "You've been so busy with Sherie we haven't had a chance to get together... we need to give you another dance lesson."
He gave her a quick kiss on the lips and said, "I'm looking forward to it."
"Good. Breakfast is almost ready... don't take too long," she said as she turned and left.
When her mother started clearing the dishes from the table, Julie got up and helped. Julie took her father's plate and asked, "Are you guys going out tonight?" She was pretty sure they would since Sunday was usually her parent's night out together.
"Yes, we're taking the Thompson's out to dinner. They moving out next Wednesday," her father replied. The Thompson's were their neighbors across the street; they were retiring and moving to Florida.
"Their house sure sold fast. The for-sale sign just went up a week ago," said Kyle. "Do you know who bought it?"
"A guy retiring from the Air Force... a Colonel Devlin. He's taken a job with Gaines Aviation here. The head of their government contracting department or something like that," said their mother.
"Oh, another old couple," Julie said with a sigh. "I was hoping that maybe someone younger with kids would move in."
Her mother laughed. "Only if you consider us old," she said pointing at their father. "They're about our age and have three kids. Mrs. Thompson brought Mrs. Devlin over and introduced her yesterday."
"Really... when you said retired, I thought they'd be older." Then Julie asked, "What about the kids... how old are they?"
"They have a girl, Nicole, who's sixteen, and two boys, identical twins who are seventeen... Sean and Ian."
Julie laughed, "Twins and seventeen... wait till Mel hears about that."
Her father laughed. "Okay, you and Mel go easy on them until they have a chance to settle in."
"Oh... Daddy, we will," said Julie. "When are they moving in?"
"I believe she said the twenty-fifth," replied her mother.
As Julie sat back down at the table she turned to her mother and asked, "Mom, if you've got a minute I want to ask about something."
"Sure honey, what?"
"Halloween is on Friday this year. Mel and I decided we're too old to be trick-or-treating — can I have a Halloween party this year? Just a few kids."
"I guess so," said her mother, "if it's not too many... say fifteen or sixteen of you."
"Oh Mom, if it's less than eighteen, we'd have to leave someone out and their feelings would be hurt."
"Okay, eighteen will be alright."
"Well we ought to invite our new neighbors and I thought we would invite Kyle and Sheri. That would make it twenty-three."
Julie's mother shook her head and threw her hands up like she was surrendering. "Okay, just round it off — no more than twenty-four. And, you know the party rules."
"Thanks Mom, yeah. No booze, no pot or drugs, no tobacco, and don't play the music too loud. Shut it down by eleven-thirty. Right?"
Her father laughed and said, "Yep, you've got it right."
He watched Kyle and Julie leave and turned to his wife. "Sarah, do me a favor — don't ever try to negotiate Julie's allowance with her."
She looked at him, "Why?"
"I'm not sure we'd be able to afford the figure you two would arrive at," he said chuckling.
"Oh Don," she said, laughing with him. "You know, we could ask the Devlins over that night. They could help chaperon the party and it would give us a chance to get to know them. She seemed real nice when I met her yesterday."
"Sure. When you get a chance, why don't to mention it to her."
As they left the kitchen, Kyle turned to Julie and said, "That was pretty slick."
Julie looked at him, "What do you mean?"
Kyle chuckled, "You went from fifteen people to twenty-four in less than five minutes."
"Oh... that," said Julie and laughed. "Well I wanted to invite you and Sherie. I want to meet this older woman that's trying to seduce my brother."
"I wish... the only times I've seen her this week have been over at her house and her mother is always there," said Kyle. "I'll mention the party to her today. I'm going to take her and her mother to church. After church, I'm going to give Sherie a driving lesson... she got her learner's permit Thursday."
Julie leaned into him and nudged him with her shoulder. "Is that anything like a dancing lesson?"
Kyle laughed and nudged her back.
"I like this car... I can sit closer to you," Sherie said. "It's lot bigger than your car." Kyle had his grandmother's old Mercury Grand Marquis. It had a bench seat with a middle seat belt rather than the bucket seats.
"It's old... thirteen years old, but it's only got 59,000 miles on it. It was my Grandmother's, and Dad won't sell it because he can't sell it for what it's really worth." Kyle glanced at Sherie. "I thought it would be a good one for you to learn to drive in... if you can drive this big thing okay, you ought to be able to handle the smaller ones."
Sherie leaned toward him and whispered, "I noticed that the back seat has a lot more room than your car." She gave him a kiss on his cheek, giggling, "We'd be able to do a lot more back there than we could in yours."
Kyle glanced at her and laughed. "I know, but first the driving lesson."
"Where are we going?"
"To the Industrial Park out by the city water works. It's pretty empty on Sunday and there's plenty of room for you to get used to the car." He smiled at her. "If you do okay, we can go on the roads around the reservoirs — they all have a center-line on them and there won't be any traffic to worry about."
When they got to the Park, Kyle changed places and let Sherie drive. They spent about an hour driving around, parking, backing up — letting her get confident in her ability to handle the car. They were stopped once by a security patrol officer and Sherie showed him her driver's permit and Kyle showed him his license. The rent-a-cop joked with them for a few minutes and just cautioned them to be careful. They drove around for a few more minutes and then Kyle had her pull over and stop for a moment.
"Okay, you're doing real good," said Kyle. "Now, we're going to drive around the reservoirs on regular roads instead of these big wide streets." He smiled at her, "You won't have any problems. We'll only go about thirty miles an hour. I want you keep the car on your side of the line fairly close to the edge of the road." He laughed, "Any idiot can ride down the center-line. What you want to do is learn to sense where your wheels are so you can stay on the road and avoid the idiot that has to drive on the center-line."
Sherie drove around the lakes for about forty-five minutes gradually becoming more confident and relaxed. Kyle complimented her several times, especially when he had her make some sharp turns to either the right or left onto other roads and she did so without any difficulty. She was driving down the road that bordered the largest reservoir. There was just the shoulder between the road and the lake on her right when a small dog darted out of the bushes and directly in front of the car.
Sherie cried out, jammed on the brakes, and started to turn the wheel. Kyle grabbed the wheel with his left hand and held it straight; she couldn't turn it. "OH MY GOD! I HIT HIM!... I HIT HIM!" Sheri was almost screaming as the car stopped.
Kyle saw the dog escape unscathed into the bushes on the other side of the road. Sherie was almost in tears and her hands were shaking. She wouldn't believe that the animal had escaped unharmed. They got out of the car so she could see for herself.
Kyle put his arms around her shoulders, "See, I told you. You didn't hit him." Kyle chuckled, "I expect it scared you worse than it did him."
Sherie turned and let him hug her. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I... I was sure I'd killed him."
"Those things happen when you drive. You have to be prepared for them." He gave her a quick kiss. "You didn't cause it and you didn't do anything wrong. The reason I grabbed the wheel was to keep you from turning — you don't ever want to risk hurting yourself or someone else trying to dodge a squirrel or cat. Sure, try to stop, but don't do anything drastic."
As he walked her back to the driver's door, she said, "Why don't you drive?"
"No, you are doing fine. You need to drive, especially now, after that scare."
Kyle opened the door for her. She put her hand on his arm. "Oh dammit Kyle..." she looked at him blushing a deep red, "if you laugh I'll never forgive you."
Kyle looked at her puzzled, "Why... What is it?"
"I wet my pants," she said softly and blushed even more. "It scared me so bad I wet them a little."
Kyle struggled to keep his face straight and succeeded. "Oh... I didn't know." He took her back in his arms and hugged her. "Sherie, I wouldn't laugh at you... I'd never laugh at you." She had put her head down against his chest. He put a finger under her chin and raised her head up and kissed her lips. "I tell you what... why don't you take those wet panties off. We'll hang them on the aerial and let them dry."
"Kyle, I don't..."
"I've got a sister and a mother. I've seen girls panties before."
With a rueful laugh, Sherie said, "Okay." She reached up under the back of her skirt and quickly stripped her panties down, stepped out of them, and handed them to Kyle.
Kyle walked around to the other side of the car and hung the plain pink panties on the aerial. "Hmmm... I was hoping for a pair of bikini panties either red or black," he said as he smiled at Sherie. When she gave a hard look, he said, "Okay, just kidding. Now why don't you get in and we'll drive around some and let them dry."
After driving around some, Sherie was more relaxed — the experience with the dog forgotten. Glancing out the corner of her eyes over to Kyle, she noticed he was looking more at her legs than the road ahead. She glanced down; her skirt had crept up her thigh to within a few inches of her crotch. She had to suppress an urge to giggle... he was looking at her and imagining what was just under the hem of her skirt. "My bare pussy," she thought. She saw Kyle shift his position slightly. "I'll bet he's got an erection and is trying to hide it," she smiled at her thoughts. Her thoughts were making her more and more aware of the nakedness of her cunt... she could feel the nakedness. She felt a little wicked knowing that her naked pussy was teasing Kyle, arousing him. She was becoming excited — aroused herself — as she watched Kyle sneaking glances at her legs.
"Kyle, I'm getting a little tired. Can we just park and talk for awhile?"
"Sure. There's a turn-off just ahead — to the right. It'll take us off the city property and down to one of the large creeks feeding the reservoir."
Sherie pulled into a deserted area that looked like an old boat ramp that had gone to ruin. It was a pretty area but very isolated.
