Clifford was talking with his cousin Annie, and somehow the subject of underwear came up. “The thing is,” she said, with a hint of regret in her tone, “I can’t wear the kind with the slit.”

“Why not?” Clifford asked.

“I’ll show you,” Annie said. “Wait here.”

A minute or two later Annie reappeared. She was naked, all but a pair of white panties. The garment was high-waisted but included a pronounced slit down the front. “See,” she said, “it doesn’t work because of my muff. I suppose I could shave it or wax it but I’m not prone to do that. “Of course,” Clifford agreed, admiring the slit and Annie’s muff peeking through in a pronounced way.

“Guys are lucky,” Annie continued.

“Oh? How so?”

“Your underwear has a fly.”

“Not all of them,” Clifford said.

“I guess that’s right,” Annie admitted.

“And even if there is a fly, it’s not really that convenient. I mean if you have to pee or something.”

“I didn’t know that,” Annie said. “Does your underwear that you’re wearing have a fly?”

“I think so,” Clifford said. “I can’t really remember.”

“Maybe we should check,” Annie suggested.

Not long later Clifford was naked, all except his underwear, which did have a fly.

“But see,” he said, “if I want to get my, um, my penis out for some reason...”

“For some reason,” Annie said with a grin. “Yeah, I can see it might be difficult to get it through the opening. But it might be fun to try.”

“I don’t know,” Clifford said.

“Mind if I have a go at it?” Annie asked.

In the end, Annie was able to get Clifford’s penis free of the underwear, although not through the fly but rather, after some pulling and twisting, through one of the leg holes.

“There,” she said. “Triumph! And as long as we’ve gone to all that trouble...”
