Chapter 23

I was back on an early shift today so Robin and I were up at the almost the same time. He was already in the bathroom when I got out of bed, I grinned to myself thinking

'Well one good thing is that I don't have to wait to use the bathroom anymore.'

I went in and casually stood astride the toilet bowl, had my pee then got into the shower. Robin was at the sink shaving and I heard a muttered curse as he cut himself with his razor. I grinned again, that would teach him to keep his eyes on what he was doing. I had my shower, did my make up, slipped on a pair of stockings and went down to the kitchen to join Robin. We drank our coffee then headed off to work,

"You haven't forgotten I'm having the girls round tonight have you?" I asked.

"No." He replied, "Are you going to invite Alice too?"

"Maybe, I will have to warn her what to expect though."

"Yes, or she might get a shock."

"A surprise maybe, I don't think she is easily shocked."

"No it didn't seem that way last night."

I put my uniform on, gave Robin a kiss and headed off to work. I was picking Claire up so I had to go through the town, on the way I spotted Alice at the bus stop and pulled over,

"Hi, want a lift?"

I leaned over and opened the back door for her,

"I have another friend to pick up on the way."

She climbed in,

"Thanks, I seem to spend half my life in bus queues at the moment."

We chatted as I drove on to Claire's, I pulled up outside and Claire got in, she leaned over and kissed me passionately,

I suddenly remembered Alice in the back seat and blushed slightly,

"Er... Claire this is Alice, Alice meet Claire a very good friend of mine."

"So I see," laughed Alice, "good morning Claire."

"Hi Alice," said Claire giving me a questioning look.

"I'll tell you later," I said as I drove us on to work.

We got to work and I parked the car, we all got out and I turned to Alice,

"See you in the rest room later?"

"Sure." she replied, then with a sideways glance at Claire she reached up, pulled my head down, and kissed me almost as thoroughly as Claire had.

"See you later Claire," she said with a grin as she headed off to her ward.

"Old friend?" Claire asked.

"No, I met her on Tuesday, she's just moved here."

"Well, judging by the way she just kissed you I can see you have been busy, you can tell me all about it later."

It took about an hour or so for Claire and I to get things organised at work and find time for a quick chat.

"So, tell me about Alice."

"She has just moved here after a divorce, there is just her and her daughter. They don't know anyone from round here."

"How did you come to meet her?"

I giggled,

"That's quite an apt turn of phrase! I was in the ladies at lunchtime on Tuesday, Alice was in the next cubicle and I could hear her playing with herself."

"And?"

"I made sure she heard me playing with myself too and we came together."

"Mmmm nice way to make new friends."

"Then we met in the restroom for lunch yesterday and got talking, I said I would introduce her to a few people and help her settle into the area. So after work we got a bottle of wine and went home for a chat."

"And then you seduced her?"

"Sort of, although Robin was the one who actually got to have her first."

Claire laughed,

"He must love the way you keep bringing home new women for him."

"He certainly hasn't complained!"

"I'm sure he hasn't, do you think Alice might like to come round again tonight?"

"I'm going to ask her at lunchtime, I'll have to give her a bit of warning of what to expect though. She should be free, I asked Leon to ask her daughter out tonight and introduce her to some of the other kids."

Claire giggled,

"So you are finding new women for Leon too now, when do I get to have him?"

"Huh, after the way you called me a cradle snatcher I ought to keep him to myself."

Things got a little busier then and it was lunchtime before we had a chance to continue chatting, we grabbed a corner table in the restroom, we had only just sat down when Alice came in, I waved her over. She got a coffee and came over to sit with us and the three of us chatted for a while. Claire was asking her what she thought of the area,

"Well I didn't know anyone when I arrived," Alice replied, "but Amanda has certainly made me feel welcome."

"Mmmm so I hear," laughed Claire, "it sounds as though Robin was even more welcoming."

Alice blushed a little and glanced sideways at me.

"Don't worry," I said, "Claire is one of my oldest friends, and we don't have any secrets from each other, well not many anyway."

"Robin is a good lover isn't he Alice?" Claire asked, "I always enjoy having him."

"I certainly had a good time last night."

I grinned,

"I'm not sure I should listen if you two are going to sit there discussing how good my husband is in bed."

I turned to Alice and said,

"Claire and a few of my other girlfriends are coming round tonight, would you like to join us? Robin works some evenings and we occasionally have a girl's night in when he is out."

"I'd love to; I'll have to check what Jackie is doing though."

"Leon said he was going to ask her to go to the youth club tonight, so as long as he has kept his word she will probably be out too."

Claire giggled,

"Leon always does what you tell him to doesn't he Amanda."

"Usually."

"And you always do what I tell you don't you."

"Yes I do."

"Will you do what I tell you Alice?" Claire asked her.

She looked at me for reassurance and I nodded,

"Um well ok I will try."

I reached over and patted her hand,

"You will enjoy it I promise, Claire is very inventive."

Claire smiled at me then turned to Alice and put a hand on her knee,

"Are you wearing stockings or tights?" she asked.

"Tights."

Claire reached into her handbag and took out a packet of hold up stockings and passed them to Alice,

"You have five minutes to be back here wearing those, and I want you to bring back your tights and knickers and give them to me."

Alice gave me a 'what have I got myself into here' look but she stood up and walked quickly out of the rest room. Claire and I chatted while we waited, Claire kept checking her watch, she had just said "four minutes" when Alice a came back into the room slightly out of breath. She sat back down and passed a wad of materiel to Claire. Claire grinned and tucked Alice's tights and panties into her bag,

Jackie laughed,

"He's quite good looking I suppose, and captain of the rugby team so some of the other girls were a bit jealous."

"I'm going out with Amanda and Claire tonight so I may be late home; you have a good time and tell me all about it tomorrow."

Alice went upstairs to change and Jackie went through an archway into the dining area. "Sounds quite a catch, no wonder the other girls were jealous," I laughed.
