Chapter 1

It hadn't been one of Josh Carmichael's best days in life not when his designer company sent him on some stupid assignment like this, they said he should interact with the whole photographing and modeling stage to get more insights on his work, well I definitely have friends who are photographers, and sleep with models, I have insights enough, Josh thought dryly.

The day was busy none of his friends was free to show him anything except Ginny, Tommy's assistant who was another friend of Josh.

"So you basically stand by and watch how things work, hey its only two weeks. I am stuck here everyday" she looked at him with amusement.

"Its just I already know about how things work out here, I just take the last step and best step in the whole progress."

"This will teach you to keep your mouth shut in the next meeting, Mrs. Caldwell really has something against you." Ginny joked.

"Well how was I supposed to know that Sarah was her granddaughter she definitely didn't look like her."

Josh sighed when Ginny laughed really hard.

"How's things with Tommy, huh?" that sobered her.

"Its been good for a while, come on lets head up stairs, the shoot you need to watch is up now." she changed the subject quickly.

"Which airhead this time?" Josh asked dryly.

"Not all of them are airheads you know not this one anyway." she said quietly.

"Whom are we talking about? That would be a day if she really excited, she might even be acting." he asked jokingly.

"Sabrina Bloom, and a few others." she watched his face for his reaction.

"Oh. HER." he said with a stern look on his handsome face. "It's been three years, you know." she said sympathetically

"She still lied to me, besides I moved on."

"Yeah that's why you haven't been in a relationship since her, all airheads or women who know they won't see you again."

"Hey, Josh my man." Tommy rushed engulfing Josh in a hug.

"Hey Tommy." Tommy had been Josh's best friend since they used to sneak playboy magazines, cigarettes and girls all throughout high school and college, where Tommy majored in photography, and Josh majored in design.

After the usual hugs and jokes, Tommy said, "You don't have to watch you know, you can just leave if you want."

"Why should I? I am here already, so what the hell." shrugging slightly.

"But Sabrina is here you know... umm... well. I thought... since..." Tommy started hesitating.

"Don't start, I'm doing my job, she's doing her's, plus I haven't seen her in a while."

"But I thought you saw Lucien and Honey every week?" Ginny gave Josh a hard look.

"Of course I do, I just don't see her."

"Well as you wish man, come on Ginny I need your help, go make yourself useful and sit on that chair in the corner, Josh."

"Very funny man, real funny,"

Josh said smiling. Josh! No I must've heard wrong, Sabrina thought, oh please you pathetic idiot he's not the only guy with that name in the whole world, Sabrina smacked herself mentally even though it has been years but he was the only man in her life, her first everything and apparently last too. She loved him since high school and college until she didn't believe in him enough, broke up with him, and lost him forever. She isn't suppose to dwell on spilled milk, she can't help how her heart skips beats when she see a man with a long hair just like Josh's, while staring hoping its him. She doesn't see him a lot just every once in a while they would talk on the phone to handle Lucien and Honey's issues. She made a mistake and would have to live with it, with the two look alike at home every day, not even Honey resembled her in her looks, both of her beautiful twins looked just like their daddy. Those little two devils are the only thing that keeps her sanity in check, but without him, her life seems so lonely and he was too angry with her she couldn't try to get him back again

. "Sabrina, your on now."

Someone called her name, she sighed looked in the mirror and repeated, forget about it, its over. The she stood up and walked gracefully to the studio room, she looked around and sat down on the small chair they have there, she greeted Tommy with a warm smile, then she caught his eyes and her head started spinning. What is he doing here? Dear god. Then she regained her composure for the camera, the entire time Tommy was commanding her to change her position, he didn't take his eyes off her face, like he was trying not miss an expression she would make, but his face and eyes were blank.

"Thanks, Sabrina it was nice seeing you again."

"Thanks Tom." she smiled at Tommy again then stood up to leave without glancing back. No wonder the other girls were talking about the handsome guy standing outside in the shooting room, he was always like that ever since high school, wherever he went girls would drool all over him, she used to be the one once, when he belonged to her, only her.

Josh wasn't easy seeing Sabrina in her territory like that, she always looked beautiful but damn, she made it hard to take his eyes of off her, But somehow she didn't seem like she used to be, she looked older somehow her eyes looked troubled. Today was actually the first time he really looked at her, I mean looked, before he would just wait for the twins outside the building for the twins holiday with him, funny how he once thought she was the only one for him. He was always looking for a different type of a woman, someone who would have complete faith in him, love, trust and need. Maybe he was a little harsh but she did the unforgivable to him, she left him without as much as a note, he woke up to an empty house, their house, and he just went crazy, he looked for her everywhere he could think of, even went to at her parents house and faced her horrible parents just to know if she was alright, but nothing, for 2 weeks no one knew anything about her, until one night she called him, saying that she cant do it any more that leaving him was the hardest thing she ever did, she said he's not suppose to look for her and disappeared. Of course like an idiot he fell for it and considered doing his best to get her back, so he focused on his work just his work, no one except Tom knew what happened 2 years later he got a job at one of the best designer company's, that's as when he found her... His secretary Ms.Flower 's knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.
