Chapter 7

The next morning, we showered together again, but we did not bother to make love this morning. We had decided that we would go visit my mother, who takes care of my niece and nephew, and spend some time with them, before we had to move the rest of her stuff into the apartment. On the way over there, we saw something at a road side stand that Jessica just had to have. So, we stopped to pick it up. It was a baby crib, for our future family.

We finally arrived at where my mom was taking care of the kids, and as soon as we walked in, my mother noticed the rather large rock on her finger, and quickly questioned about it. We told her that we had decided to get married, and that we would be doing that in the very near future. My mother was surprised, but she saw just how much in love we were, and she accepted it. She questioned on how it could have happened so quickly, and we told her about how we just felt as though we had known one another forever when we spoke to one another. She gave congratulations to us, and hugged us both. We sat and talked with her, and played with the kids for a while.
