"ATTENTION ON DECK!" The watch officer barked as Captain Morgan stepped off of the lift and onto the bridge of the cruiser. Morgan looked around; everything seemed to be in order. All six captains of the six starships orbiting Earth were present, as were their sub-commanders.
"At ease, gentlemen. As you know, over the last week our probe drones have reported 68 Terrans between the ages of 14 and 25 on the planet Earth that show promise of developing spy energies. Today, we will bring them up to the carrier Yamato, and fully debrief them on the current situation. Based on results from previous years, we can expect roughly half of them to be both willing and strong enough to be accepted into the Federation Elite Forces program. Those who do not pass will have their memories of these events erased, their psy-energies completely blocked, and will be returned to Earth. The next few days will be the most crucial: we must make these young men and women feel welcome and safe among us, and give them every reason to want to join us. If we want to defeat the Saldanians, we MUST recruit as many new Elites as possible, so everyone, do your best!"
Thunderous cheering arose all around Morgan. As a captain, Morgan was both respected and liked. He was always fair and impartial in his judgment, did his duties to the best of his abilities, and had a way of easily befriending the crew. He had risen to the rank of Commander much faster than anyone before him. As Morgan turned and headed back for the lift, he caught the eye of the navigations officer, who smiled and winked at him before turning back to her console. Morgan grinned. For the past month, he and the nav officer, Ilena, had developed a strong bond. What had been an easy friendship while on the bridge quickly turned into a strong attraction, and inevitably ended up with her now spending all her nights in his quarters when she wasn't on duty. Morgan looked forward to the rest of the day: both welcoming the new Terrans, and the woman he knew would be waiting for him when he returned to his quarters tonight.
Jake awoke with a moan, as he felt a set of very soft and warm lips sliding up and down on his cock. He opened his eyes, to see Dana winking at him as she continued giving him a good morning blowjob.
"Oh, what a great way to wake up. Mmmm, that feels really good Dana." Dana stopped what she was doing long enough to smile at him.
"You looked so sweet just lying there asleep, I couldn't help myself. So I decided to give you a first class wakeup call."
With that, she started sucking him off again, sliding her lips up and down his shaft while swirling her tongue around the tip. Jake decided that it wasn't exactly fair to let her do all the work, so he tapped her and motioned for her to get into a 69 position. She happily complied, and Jake soon found himself staring up at a clean shaven and very cute pussy. He inhaled, enjoying her scent, and then gently licked the outer folds of her pussy. She moaned around his dick, heightening his pleasure. Then, Jake stuck his tongue into her pussy as far as he could, lapping up her flowing juices and occasionally sucking on her clit. Soon, the room was filled by the mutual moans and the occasional grunt of the two passionate lovers. As Jake felt his orgasm approaching, he ran one of his fingers along her pussy lips, lubing it up, and then gently started pushing it into her ass. This sent Dana over the edge, and she came, moaning around his cock, her pussy contracting around his tongue. The vibrations caused by her mouth were too much for Jake, and he shot his load, some of which landed on her face and breasts and she sat up. She smiled at him, and climbed off of the bed, heading to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Jake followed her, and stepped into the shower to get cleaned up. A few minutes later, she joined him, and they were content to just cuddle for a while in the shower, neither being up for another round of sex. Soon, it was time for both of them to head to class, and they parted ways, Dana taking the train while Jake drove to school.
After a quick lunch, Captain Morgan headed for dock A, which had been cleared to make space for the expected arrivals. The materialization beams had already been locked onto the 68 targets, and the genetic scans had been fed into the computer. The elevated observation deck was filled with scientists, medical personnel, technicians, and a squad of Enforcers in case any of the new arrivals panicked and did something unwise.
"Good morning, Lieutenant." Morgan greeted the officer behind the controls of the materialization beam. "I trust everything is going according to schedule, and that all the machines are functioning properly?"
"Yes, Captain. All systems are at 100%, and all the fail safes are in place. We are ready to initialize at your command."
"Very good. You may begin the countdown now."
"Yes Sir." The Lieutenant toggled a few switches, and then depressed a button to switch on the docking bay's speaker system. "ATTENTION. MATERIALIZATION COMMENCING IN THIRTY SECONDS. BEAMS LOCKED ON. ARRIVAL REGION CLEAR. TRAJECTORIES CALCULATED. MATERIALIZATION STARTING - NOW."
A slow hum was soon audible, and the lights dimmed somewhat as the materialization engine drew vast amounts of power to accomplish its task. Soon, a glow surrounded the floor of the docking bay. The glow quickly intensified, as did the humming, and vague human shaped mists became distinguishable through the glare. As the engine continued assembling the particles, the mists started condensing into the forms of 68 young men and women. The captain strode to a point on the observation deck where he would be clearly visible, anticipating the momentary mass panic and hysteria that was sure to follow.
Jake looked around him in bewilderment. His head felt kind of fuzzy, and his skin tingled all over. He had been heading out of his school's parking lot when a weird glowing ball had enveloped him, and he couldn't remember what had happened since then.
"Jake?! What- Where are we? What's going on?"
Jake turned around to see Dana hurrying towards him, a panicked look on her face. Jake could understand how she was feeling, since he himself didn't have a clue where he was or what he was doing here. Dana reached him and flung her arms around him, clinging to him tightly.
"I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm sure everything is going to be ok. Look, we're not alone." Dana looked around and noticed that Jake was right. Dozens of equally dazed and confused men and women surrounded the two. Some were rubbing their eyes as if trying to wake up from a dream. Judging from their looks, they were from the other side of the world, and probably HAD been dreaming.
"HEY! What's going on here?! Where the fuckin' hell am I?! Where's my TV? I was watching the damned game! It's the bottom of the ninth!" A large and muscular man near the couple demanded, glaring around trying to find someone to blame.
"Good day, or good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Captain Morgan. As you have probably noticed by now, you are no longer where you expected to be. As hard as it is to believe, you are now onboard a starship orbiting Earth. You have been chosen because you possess a special skill, known as psy energy. I am here to offer you a chance to harness that power, and to possibly do something greater than you ever imagined. Of course, by no means will you be held here against your will. You may choose to return to your lives at any time. However, before I can tell you more, I'm afraid we must first conduct a scan on each of you. This scan is perfectly safe, but for security reasons it must be completed before continuing. If anyone would like to stop now and return to their normal lives, please notify us now."
Several people were hesitantly starting to raise their hands, when the large man again spoke up.
"Damn right I wanna go home! I don't care bout this stupid mumbo jumbo bullshit you're feeding us! I don't know where we are, but you better hope I never find out, cause I'll have the Feds on you faster than you can blink. Now lemme outa this hellhole!"
"Your opinion has been heard, and will be taken into account. However, please wait a moment while we find out how many other people also wish to return immediately. We will then be happy to trans-"
Before Captain Morgan could complete his sentence, the guy exploded.
"I'm not waiting for no one! I wanna go back NOW! Let me out of here or ELSE!" Snarling, the man pulled a gun out of his coat and aimed it directly at the captain. Several people around him screamed, and soon there was a huge open area around him as people attempted to distance themselves from him.
The commander of the Enforcers gave the hand signal to move in, but Morgan stopped them. He wanted to keep the chaos to a minimum to avoid scaring off more of the arrivals.
"You may as well lower that weapon. Projectiles of that caliber will be useless on this ship. We are much more technologically advanced than you can dream of, and the fact that you are on a starship should be proof enough of this."
"We'll see about that," the man growled, and fired the gun. Screams were cut short as everyone stared in amazement: the captain still stood there, never having budged an inch, and the only proof that a bullet had even been fired was a smoking gun held by a speechless man, and a small puff of dust settling to the floor about 30 feet from the man.
"As you can see, the defensive fields in position in this room ensures both our and your safety. I think it would be wise for you to put that weapon away, and quietly wait until it is time for you to leave."
The man sullenly complied, and sat down on the ground. Even with the weapon gone, the other people still kept clear of him.
Over the next few hours, after releasing the people who wished to leave and scanning the remaining arrivals for any abnormalities caused by the transfer, Captain Morgan explained the situation to them. He told them about the Saldanians, about their rampage through the known populated systems, the eventual formation of the Federation to try to stop them, the centuries of warfare that had continued up until now. Recently, a troubling development had appeared; communications to worlds lying on the edge of Federation space would suddenly cease, and ships sent to investigate would disappear as mysteriously. Even more alarming, long range particle scans indicated that the planets no longer existed. The Federation was sure that this wasn't possible, but had no way of explaining the mysterious lack of communications. This couldn't be allowed to continue; new forces were needed, to launch a mass offensive against the Saldanians, in a desperate effort to end the war. Although the war was still far from Earth space if left unchecked, the Saldanian campaign of destruction could very well reach Earth within a few decades. He also explained to them the basics of psy energy, a mental force that, if harnessed, was very similar to what the Terrans knew as telekinesis and psychic abilities.
By the time Morgan was done speaking, the room was completely quiet. Many of the arrivals had looks of pure disbelief on their faces. Some were pacing and frowning, occasionally shaking their heads. A few were simply sitting there, staring at him as if expecting him and their surroundings to disappear at any second. Finally, each arrival was asked if he wished to remain and learn more, or would like to return to their lives now. Of the 53 people who had stayed for the scan, 27 chose to continue. The rest were returned to their normal lives, their memories of these events completely erased. Both they and the people that they would otherwise have interacted with in the meantime were given supplemental false memories, to cover up the prolonged absences. The remaining 27 were taken to a decontamination room, where they would change and then head to the psy energy testing and release chambers.
