After supper and cleaning up, I went down to see about watching over the drying meat. My wives took turns keeping me company. There were 2 "spam cans" of ammunition for the carbines and 4 boxes of "+P" hollow points for the CZ. The CZ had a non-standard lever on the right side of the frame. It moved up to a detent, but did nothing I could tell. The carbines had old car keys stuck in the side below the ejection port and were marked A and S for two positions 90 degrees apart from each other. I knew what these were for. Lee had modified the carbines and the pistol to fire automatically. I told my wives that my uncle had left us a present. I emptied the box and we continued moving. Next I tried out the CZ. It worked fine but the rate of fire was terrific. I could not fire a burst shorter than 4 shots. Sky was able to shoot 3 shots at a time, and keep them on target. I told her this would be her gun now, so she traded her other one for the CZ.

We went back to the house and cleaned the guns. I told the girls that I would teach them how to use the carbines on another day. They were not really concerned, since they all had guns they were satisfied with. I told them I was going to take a nap so I could watch over the meat tonight. Plum volunteered to keep me company in the bed, and I was glad. I loved all my wives very much and enjoyed being close to any of them.
