As he kissed them goodbye before sending them back to Mr. Borden, Dale told each of the women how much he had enjoyed his time with them. They kept telling him how happy they were that he had allowed them the privilege of serving him. After they walked out of his suite Dale realized that he had been thinking a bit too much with his dick and not enough with his head.
The stunt in the backstage dressing rooms very well might have been caught at least in part on camera. Even if he were lucky enough to not be identified by security personnel, the women in the dressing room might lose their job or get into some other trouble due to his carelessness. In a way Dale wondered how he had avoided screwing up even worse then he already had being in such close proximity to so many people. Dale had heard that Casinos have video cameras all over the place. He determined to be much more careful in environments that were so likely to be monitored.
"Vyagar?"
"Yes Dale?"
"How are things progressing on the satellite project?"
"The entire deployment should be completed within the next twenty-four hours. I took the liberty of re-ordering the deployment schedule in such a way that the Western Hemisphere is already covered," Vyagar informed him.
"Excellent!"
Dale placed his breakfast order with room service. While he was waiting for his food to arrive he used his PC's cellular Intranet connection to search for a local Jaguar dealership. He saved the contact information for Gaudin Jaguar to a file and transferred it to his PDA. Dale had downloaded a cool application that allowed him to highlight a phone number on a web page or text document and have his cell phone dial it.
At his request the receptionist transferred his call and soon he was speaking with the sales manager, "Good morning! My name is Dale Young. I'm staying at the Bellagio and plan on making a purchase today if possible. Do you have the 2004 XKR Convertible in stock?"
"Yes Mr. Young. We have them in stock in a variety of color and option packages," the pleased man replied.
"Excellent! As I mentioned I'm hoping to complete the purchase in short order. Would it be possible for you to have one of your more experienced sales people work with me?" Dale inquired.
"Sir, as you probably already are aware, the XKR is the top of the Jaguar line and is quite expensive. We make every attempt to treat each of our clients well; but for someone interested in the XKR you can rest assured we will do everything in our power to accommodate your wishes. Do you have transportation available or would you like me to send a driver for you?"
"Please send a driver and thank you. That would be quite convenient. I should be ready in about a half an hour; would that be too soon?" Dale queried.
"No sir. I'm sure I can arrange that and if no one else is available I'd be happy to drive you myself."
"I appreciate that. When you, or whoever else you may send, arrive at the Bellagio, have the front desk ring my room and I'll be down quite quickly. You could even call as you are nearing the hotel if you'd like," Dale suggested.
His food arrived and after he had finished eating he received a call informing him that the representative from Guadin Jaguar had arrived. When he walked out the front of the hotel he saw an attractive brunette standing next to a Salsa Red Jaguar XKR Convertible. She held out her hand saying, "Good morning Mr. Young. I'm Lynn Waters. Mr. Andresen told me you wanted to look at the XKR and plan to purchase one. I brought this one for you to test drive if you would like."
"It's quite an attractive automobile Lynn and I'm sure I will enjoy taking it for spin although it might cause me problems later," he said with a grin.
"Oh? How's that?" she asked.
"All the other men who see me driving this car accompanied by such a beautiful woman will just hate me," Dale told her and enjoyed the delightful blush that resulted from his comment.
"Ooh! A handsome man with a silver tongue! We're going to get along just fine I think Sir," she said as her face lit with a brilliant smile.
"Do you need to see my license?" Dale inquired.
"Yes," she replied.
After she looked at his license she handed it back to him and offered the keys to the XKR. The car handled like a dream. When she saw that he was enjoying himself, Lynn suggested that he take the car for a spin on the highway. The smooth acceleration of the 390 horsepower supercharged V8 was quite impressive. The Cashmere colored leather interior complemented the bold red coloring of the body.
"You are a bit sneaky Ms. Waters!" Dale said. "You know it's traditional for a man to haggle over the price of the car he wishes to buy so you've hooked me on it in advance. Now I can't threaten to go someplace else. I have to have this car!"
The delightful sound of her full and throaty laugh filled his ears.
"Well Mr. Young, perhaps you should know a bit more about the car you're hooked on," Lynn said as she proceeded to tell him about the numerous features of the particular car he was driving. It was easy to tell that Lynn was an aficionado of fine vehicles by the way she described the various features of the XKR. Her knowledge was detailed and in-depth. She was able to thoroughly explain even the most advanced aspects regarding the cars engineering and advanced suite of electronics and could accurately compare it to other vehicles. Soon enough she guided him off of the highway and down Sahara Avenue towards the dealership.
"Did you want to look at anything else Mr. Young?" she asked as she led him into the dealership's luxurious show room.
"Thank you for asking, but No. Please have them prep the car so I can drive it out of here in short order," he replied.
The MSRP for the XKR Convertible is just under eighty-six thousand dollars; but with the installed factory and dealer added options his came out to just over ninety-eight thousand before taxes and the other routine charges. Dale called Mr. Edwards and had him handle the purchase of the car, in the name of one of Dale's corporations, and the wire transfer.
As he drove away Mr. Andresen complimented Lynn, "You handled that extremely well. In fact in all of my years in the business I don't ever think I've seen a sale go so quick and smooth. Excellent work!"
"Thank you boss! I have to admit the XKR practically sells itself though," Lynn replied.
Dale drove back to the hotel and parked the car in the garage himself. He asked a bellhop with an available luggage cart to accompany him as he went to his suite and retrieved his luggage and briefcase. After his bags were locked in the trunk of the car he tipped the bellhop and went down to the front desk to checkout.
Using his PDA he looked up the route from Las Vegas to Reno on MapQuest.com. It estimated that the four hundred and fifty mile drive should take about nine hours. Dale wanted to get underway early and managed to luck out as far as traffic was concerned. The car was equipped with Jaguar's adaptive cruise control which automatically reduces speed when any form of radar is detected. Once out of the more congested area around Las Vegas, Dale set the cruising speed at one hundred miles an hour and was able to maintain that speed for a good share of the trip.
Instead of a nine hour drive he made the trip in less than six hours making only one pit stop to use the restroom and grab a burger. In a different vehicle the trip still might have seemed too long; but the car was such a pleasure to drive that Dale almost wished he could remain behind the wheel a bit longer.
About midway through his drive Dale had called Angelina's cell to find out if she was on duty. When she said it was her day off he told her that he would be arriving in town in a few hours and would like to know if she would like to have dinner with him. She accepted but reminded him that he had promised her dinner at a place of her choosing.
He called her when he reached Reno and she gave him directions to her apartment. While he was on the phone Angelina told him that she had made a reservation at Andiomo an upscale Italian restaurant at the Reno Hilton. After their call ended, Dale looked up a local florist on his PDA's Intranet link and obtained directions. When he stopped at the florist shop he ordered two dozen of their finest red roses with sprays of orchids and ferns in a beautiful leaded crystal vase. In addition to the flower arrangement he also purchased a corsage.
He pressed the button on the intercom panel next to the name tag labeled 'A. Carlisle'. Angelina buzzed him in and was waiting in the doorway of her first floor apartment.
"These are for you Angelina," Dale said holding out the box of flowers and the corsage.
Her face lit with a smile which seemed to be in direct conflict with her statement of "Oh! You shouldn't have."
"Well I wanted to, and I can, so I did," he replied.
She opened the box of flowers, removed the water vials off of the ends of the already trimmed stems, and filled the vase with water. "Dale, these are absolutely beautiful! And so is this corsage!"
"A corsage made for you needs to be beautiful lest it mar your loveliness," Dale told her.
Angelina gave him a hug and a kiss in response to his kind words and told him, "My mother taught me that it's traditional for a woman to make a man wait a bit when he picks her up for a date; but I would rather spend the extra time with you instead of primping in front of the mirror."
"Well you already look exquisite and with your dazzling smile you'll have all of the men swooning," Dale said.
She laughed and asked, "Are you the president of the Liars' Club?"
"No. On the other hand, if I were the president of the Liars' Club would I truthfully answer your question?" he joked. "Honestly Angelina you look quite lovely and gorgeous."
"Could you help me with this?" she asked handing him the corsage.
He pinned the corsage on her and then held the door open for her. He made certain it was locked before he pulled it shut. Angelina whistled when she spotted the Jaguar, "Now that's what I call a car!"
"I like it," Dale replied as he opened the passenger door for her. Soon they were underway with Angelina providing directions. The maître d' had them seated in short order and a waiter took their drink orders. Dale perused the menu quickly deciding on the pan seared veal chops. Angelina took a bit longer but was ready when the waiter returned with their drinks. She ordered the pacific salmon.
