"I've got Davidson," said Andrea into the phone.

"You can actually deliver the Teleprom account?" asked Lawrence Whitcomb.

"Lock stock and barrel."

"How did you manage... ?"

"Let's just say that everyone has a weakness. Davidson's is nubile teeny boppers, in pairs. Pay off a couple to make themselves available, hide mini cams in their purses and..."

"So you're blackmailing him."

"Oh," she said smiling, "let's don't use such a harsh word. I prefer to think of it as persuasion."

"You're playing with fire again, Andrea."

"I'm playing the game we both know I play well. Now I've got Davidson in my pocket. Are you going to deliver on your end or do I take his account somewhere else?"

"No, but it will take some time. I'm working on undermining Vickie's credibility with the board."

"Well don't make me wait too long, Lawrence. With Davidson's account, I could open a whole new firm."

"Now don't do anything rash, Andrea. Just give me a little more time and everything will work out exactly as planned."

"It had better."

"I'm very much in agreement with you that Vickie has to go. Have I ever done anything that wasn't in the best interests of the firm?"

"No, I give you that Lawrence, you always backed me completely."

"Then just give me a little more time to lay the groundwork and I guarantee that Vickie will be ousted."

"All right, Lawrence. I'm just anxious to get back where I belong."

"I understand. I'll be in touch shortly."
